Pop the champagne! We have a New Champion🍾🥂

We are delighted that Oaklee, owner handled by Jill and Maxine, after her recent outing at the Vancouver Island Pointing Dog Club Wing To Ring Event and VCKC shows has earned her Championship at 9.5 months✨💖✨
Oaklee was also Best Puppy and Best In Sweeps at the Wing To Ring Specialty Show!

We are very proud of Jill, who also handled Oaklee in the Field Test, where Oaklee earned her first leg of Field Dog Junior!🤩

Our wild and beautiful Charlotte got mail!💌
She earned more points towards her American Grand Championship on our trip to Portland, OR last month.

We are really looking forward to getting this naturally-talented girlie into the field again this spring for further training🤩 Might need a horse...😆

Mabel wasn’t the only one awarded last month at the Portland, Oregon GSP Specialties and All Breed shows-
We are very proud of Kane, from our Elliot x Mae litter, who was also in the ribbons every show!🥳

Kane was awarded Reserve Winners Dog at both Specialty Shows🩵Winners Dog/Best of Winners for a 5pt major at the Thursday all breed show, Reserve Winners Dog on Friday, Winners Dog on Saturday, and wrapped the trip by going Winners Dog/Best of Winners for a 4pt major on Sunday!

This is a great opportunity to get started in field tracking!

Is a CKC tracking title on your list this year? If so, now is the time to become familiar with the sport. I will be offering workshops this spring and subsequent lessons preparing dogs for fall tests in the okanagan region. Working spots are very limited and unfortunately no auditing due to available space on private land.

Hunterspride has a new American Champion!🎉

Mabel, on her first trip to the US last month, came home a new American Champion!! She finished with all majors at the Portland, Oregon GSP specialties and all breed shows!🤩 We are so proud of beautiful Mabel, who was in the ribbons every show💜

Specialty #1, Judge Marjorie Martorella, Mabel was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for a 5pt major!
Specialty #2, Judge Brian Meyer, Mabel was Winners Bitch, Best of Opposite S*x and Award of Merit from the classes for another 5pt major!! It was so special that with the BOS she won the GSPCOr perpetual trophy with her Great Great Granddam Cassis painted on it.

Thursday & Friday All Breed shows Mabel was Reserve Winners Bitch. Saturday Mabel was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for a 4pt major! Sunday Mabel finished her CH by going Winners Bitch for another 4pts🥳

We attended the Rose City Classic all breed shows and GSP Specialties in Portland Oregon earlier this month. We are super proud of Mabel, Kane, Charlotte and Kestrel for being consistently in the ribbons!

These 4 also did their ‘health duty’ for GSPs everywhere and donated blood to the DNA repository❤️ this supports research initiatives from the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America’s Health and Welfare Program🤩

Last show of the year for Hunterspride! Everyone had a great time at the festive Nanaimo KC/Tyee KC shows last weekend🎄✨☃️

Tenzo (Jaeger x Vinci) scored some more points towards his Championship ~ sisters Oaklee and Suzie Q (Mick x Pippa) made their puppy debut, learning all about dog shows, with Oaklee earning her first points ~ Kane (Elliot x Mae) earned some more points towards his Grand Championship🥳
