I was not expecting 100g babies to arrive at this time of the year 🦔 Jessica, Phoebe & Jax each arrived a day apart from each other from the same garden in Corby 🙂Fingers crossed we’ve got the whole family & they soon start to thrive 🦔🦔
Finn & Beau just couldn’t hold themselves back when I topped up their bowl of Royal Canin Mousse this evening 🦔 They love it 😋🦔
This hedgehog didn’t read the guidelines that suggest a hedgehog highway needs to be 13cm X 13cm 🤣 🦔

It’s getting warmer ☀️ Please leave several shallow bowls of water around your garden 🪴 The hedgehogs love it at night & the birds during the day 😊🦔
This is Winifred 🦔 she was put to sleep today 😢 she was caught by her leg in a rat trap 😡 Initially we thought her injuries could be treated but sadly an X-ray today showed this wasn’t the case ☹️
I put a camera in her cage overnight to watch how she moved - it was a hard watch as she was obviously in a lot of pain despite her meds 🙁 but this little bit of footage made me smile 🥰
Please do not use rat traps 🐀
If Winifred hadn’t been spotted she would have died a long, slow painful death 🙁

Tim’s finder was so worried about him when she discovered him collapsed in the garden overnight that she rang me at 3am 😬 He arrived in the rescue early this morning & now I realise why she was so concerned ☹️🦔 I have started treatment & he is now comfortable 🦔 Many fingers crossed please 🤞
Even with all the rain we’ve had bowls of fresh, clean water really do save lives 🦔 Please pop a few bowls of water around the perimeter of your garden for the hogs, birds & any other wildlife that just needs a quick drink 💦
Who remembers Kelly who came into the rescue at just 80g after being found on a patio last summer 🦔 She thrived in the rescue but couldn’t go back to her finders garden 😞 So I released her into my garden a couple of months ago & she is now being wooed by a rather large male 💙 🦔
This pair have been courting in my garden for several days now 💙 I’m not sure if his smooth move made much of an impression on her 🤣
