This group was so fun, so impressive, and so beautifully cohesive!

Massive congrats to these much-less-spicy-than-they-used-to-be dogs:
✨️Finnegan, who didn't get ragey about the off-leash dog! 😇
✨️Reya, whose recovery time is almost as impressive as the progress she's made! 🎉
✨️Odin, who had his best session yet AND is learning that silence is golden. 🤫

So proud of these pups and thier super dedicated moms! Well done, everyone!! 🙌🙌🙌

What a fun way to wrap up the work week! From back to front: , Cooper, and Bronco all *killing it* (but not literally) on this afternoon's Dog Date at

All the pups had some Big Feelings Moments™ but were able to come back down, settle, and make their humans (and their trainer!) so proud! It was such a delight to see!

A lovely time with some lovely dogs drinking some lovely . 🥂

Congratulations to everyone and an extra thank you to Bronco for the snuggles. 🫶🥰

So proud of this morning's ReactiviTeam! Romeo, Rosie, and Finnegan were all able to navigate big feelings, make good (socially acceptable!) choices, and generally keep thier cool... all while getting closer to the other pups than their parents thought possible!!

So 👏 freaking 👏 proud 👏

Double Date, style! and birthday boy Jax (who just turned 1! 🎉) were on their absolute best behavior today!
These boys (and their humans) worked worked on settling down, being approached by people, greeting other dogs, and learning how to be excellent company at our local dining and drinking establishments. Congratulations on a super successful and thoroughly delightful !

I'm almost as bad at remembering to take photos as I am at remembering to post them! Thank goodness took some awesome shots at the Butt Sniffing 101 graduation this weekend!

We had two amazing helper dogs, the Glorious Ms Maeby and handsome Mr Ollie who were on their *beyond* best behavior, giving beautifully clear signals to the other dogs to let everyone know how they felt, and their skilled and dedicated handlers were able to support them through each and every interaction.

I could not be more proud of every single one of these dogs and every single one of these humans. You guys make this job the very best. 🫶

Congratulations to ⭐️ Ollie ⭐️ Ella ⭐️ Buster ⭐️ DaVinci ⭐️ Kaya ⭐️Wednesday ⭐️ Ned ⭐️

Happy 6 year to my incredible, ineffable, Kit! The years have flown by. Thank you for everything you've taught me about dogs, about acceptance, about compassion, about being a better human.
You've changed my path: the terrain is more challenging, but the view is totally worth it. ❤️

Today is also what would have been Shine’s 16th birthday. She's been gone for just over a year. Today, Kit, Stormy, and I walked past the fire station that has a patch of grass out front that she used to love to roll in. I cried as we walked by. I miss your smile, I miss your sense of humor and adventure, I miss how much room you took up on the bed. 🌈

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻? 𝗢𝗵... 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵... 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 ✨️𝗠𝗔𝗚𝗜𝗖✨️
DaVinci, one of the Birch Bark fam's Reavtive-in-Recovery pups, had a successful on-leash greeing with a larger dog!! This is a bigger deal than most folks can imagine, unless you have a spicy pup, too! 🌶🐾🌶
HUGE congratulations to his dedicated parents who put in so much hard work to help DaVinci on his path to success. Of course, a ton of credit also goes to Bruno and his mom for being the perfect pairing for a safe greeting. 🫶 Bonus points to for a champion performance yesterday, too, and for cheering DaVinci on (albeit secretly!).

Well done everyone! I could not be more proud. Thank you all for trusting me, for trusting the learning process, and for being the amazing pup parents that you are. ❤️

Massive congratulations to all the dogs and huge thank you to Mabel's and Sunshine's moms for bringing them to the party! In the pictures above you can see a wonderful combination of contact greetings and peaceful acknowledgment/ disengagement. Really beautiful work, everyone!
