Guys!!! Do you remember when we found Georgie the most amazing home?!?? She went to a wonderful breeder in NC and she was immediately loved on and adored by her pack of pups and human babies!! 🥰🥰🥰
Well…. Georgie (who is now Stormy bc they already had a Georgia) just had her first litter of incredibly gorgeous puppies!!
Follow & Nora Goldendoodles to watch them grow up and go get one if you’re looking for a small standard poodle!!!
I am so proud of Georgie/Stormy as a Mama, she was always THE.BEST Auntie to all of our puppies and I’m so glad she has the opportunity to raise her own litter! 🥰

PSA for your pups: Remember, dogs cool down through panting and the sweat glands on their paws, so let’s not burn them 😬
On hot days, make sure to provide them with grass to walk on next to the road or sidewalk

I realized... it's me, not you! 😛
Many people have reached out about Rosie and she even went home to a family last week! However, they had an older dog who wasn't too keen about having a new dog in her space, so the family decided not to push it.
In any case, it made me realize that I'm looking for a specific kind of home for our sweet Rosie!
In an ideal situation, she will be an only dog with a couple or person that is home most of the time and can give her all the love and attention! Maybe someone retired or works from home. Someone who loves to be outside and go for walks Someone to take in her the car on all of their travels! Someone who wants a companion!
Rosie loves to run and play and is active like any young dog, but she is very calm, docile and gentle and that's the kind of home I'm looking for for her!
She is a dream to be around! She is housetrained and will ring a bell to let you know she needs to go outside. She does not chew on furniture or shoes but loves a good doggie bone!
She sleeps on a dog bed on the floor in our room and is not an "in your face" kind of girl! She likes to lick your arm or hand, but is very gentle about it, almost asking permission. She does not jump on people or assert herself into your space at all - she won't even push open a cracked door! When invited in, she will let you love on and pet her until your heart desires!
She's pretty perfect, but not a total saint... She can be a little stubborn when it's time to come inside (she would love to explore the yard and lay on the patio to watch for squirrels and listen to birds all day if I let her.) She can be a little timid of new situations. She is brave and wants to do everything, but her initial response is uncertainty. All she needs is someone willing to go slow and be patient with her and she comes right along! She used to be unsure of the truck, now she will jump in and enjoys the ride! She doesn't love the leash to go over her head, but once it's on her neck, she can't wait to head out the door!
We love Rosie & she fits in great, but it was never the plan to keep her forever. We will of course, but we still believe her perfect family is out there! 😍

If you’ve been following our journey you know we have been agonizing over our next steps and what that means for our business and our pups… well, as of this week, we have decided to officially close down our puppy raising side of Muddy Acre Pups.
I have been soul searching and watching the market and as disappointed as I am, I know this is the right decision for my family.
I have 4 teenagers who are not only in the middle of an incredibly busy season with school, sports, work and church activities, but who are also about to start leaving our house. When I think about how I want to spend this time, it’s with them, being their mom and being available when they need me to just listen or to show up!
As you know I love bringing puppies into the world and training them up for their Amazing families!! It has been an absolute joy to meet all of our puppy families and watch them raise great dogs!! But… it is A LOT of work! It takes so much of my time and attention and I work hard to do it right, being ethical, & taking care of our mama dogs and doing what’s best for them too!
I won’t do it if I can’t guarantee a wonderful home for each of the puppies I bring into the world, and right now, that’s where we’re at! So, with a shortage of buyers that means puppies stay with me and after having 5 dogs live with us for the last year, we’ve decided that is not our best life! 🤣 We love each of the dogs but they don’t get the attention they would if they were an only dog in the household!
So the plan, moving forward is to sell all of our puppy raising supplies, spay our mama dogs, find a home for Georgie & Rosie and continue to work with our stud dogs and offering services to reputable breeders!
Thank you all for your support and love through this journey! I have loved very moment and have truly gained wonderful friends through raising pups!!

I’ve been working at the table this week, and my coworkers apparently decided it was time to block me in! 🤪 This is exactly where you can find all the dogs when they’re not playing or eating… they will be under my feet or following me through the house 🫣🤦🏼♀️🥰

Georgie is a black & white Merle - female poodle. She is 40lbs and will be 2 years old in January and
Rosie is a black based, grey sable female Goldendoodle. She is 45lbs and will be 10 months old next week!
They are both incredibly loving and playful.
Georgie loves to give hugs and cuddle where Rosie prefers to be outside with her people as much as possible!
Both are healthy, up to date on vaccines and housetrained!!

YES! I am sooo excited about this post!!! The girls got to tour Home Depot & meet new friends! Scarlet is an old pro! She loves to be in the car, travel around town and is up for anything, (she would make a stellar service dog! 🤪) where it has taken Rose a little longer…. BUT look at her now!!!! 🎉 She is still a cautious pup, but she is brave!! She WANTS to see all of the things and meet all of the people she just needs her handler to love her enough to let her go at her own pace! She gets there! She doesn’t give up, quit trying or let fear win! She knows she’s safe and she can trust the human on the other end of the leash! We lead her into the unknown and ask her to be brave but we don’t force her! You can see by the video that her confidence is not only growing - its soaring!! At one point she tries to off on her own and she is rather content with the stranger petting her!!! We are so proud of Rose and we can now confidently say that she is ready for her new home!! There have been many people who have reached out about Rose, but she needs just the right human to love her, explore with her, give her space & encourge her to be brave! I know that special person will have the most incredible bond with Rose because she will trust them like no other! Exciting Moments up in here!! 🎉 The puppies now know “Leave it!” - We’re always adding to their obedience training and this command works well when you need the puppy to redirect her focus back to you! In our case, we use it primarily with our (very patient & docile) barn cat! 🤪 As you can see, the puppies give up on trying to get the cat to play and coming run in obedience to the “Leave it” Command!! **Scarlet is leading the pack in obedience and Rose is at the end of the video because she had already complied before I started videoing!** Both of these girls are so incredibly smart and obedient!!
