Badgerland Reptile Rescue has some incredible ambassador animals!
Here’s an update on our newest Ambassadors!
Nacho and Spike are growing like crazy! We may have underestimated the appetite of young beardies 😳 both of these little ones are enjoying a variety of bugs and working on trying new greens in their salads. Spike is already excelling at being handled and has a remarkably calm personality for a young bearded dragon. Nacho is very curious, he is always interested in what the humans are doing and watching intently from his favorite perch.
Tater Tot continues to grow. She is gaining weight and devouring her Pangea every night! As she has started to become more comfortable in her new home, she is letting her personality come through… which means, we’ve recently learned Tater Tot is a tiny green blob of pure chaotic energy 😂 Luckily for Tater Tot, her only goal at the moment is to continue to grow. Once she gets a bit larger, we will start working on being handled more frequently and for longer durations - but until then, she can just be our resident wild little crazy one.
While this trio isn’t up for adoption, they are excited t9 be Ambassadors for our organization. Nacho, Spike and Tater Tot are going to be wonderful educational animals to showcase how awesome reptiles can be as pets.
