FYI: we did not trap her. She was turned into the wabash animal shelter by the family that was able to safety get her to go in to a garage.

Marley is finally home. She was turned into the wabash shelter and they reunited her with her family. We are very happy for all of them. Jeralyn Burkett Hines Greta Landis

7/6/24, after many man hours of driving county roads, city streets and no sightings we have pulled our equipment. However we can go back at any time. Original owners have gone above and beyond in helping to search. Thank You to all envolved.

UPDATE 7/9 4pm: She was spotted today at 115/100s headed into the corn field. We just drove by and didn’t see her.

Marley is still missing from her new family!
This girl was taken in by a local family but has escaped their home!

She was last spotted Friday on Indian Hills Drive.
A trap has been set in hopes of catching her.
She is wearing a blue collar.

Please do not chase her if you spot her. Instead place food and water outside in hopes that she will stick around in one location long enough to set a trap.

We are asking that anyone who spots her contacts her family or the organization who is helping to catch her.

Just set up our trap and camera in Wabash County for a newly adopted Boxer. She had only been in the home for 2 days, and she got away. There have been sightings, so we are hopeful we will get her soon.

5/23/2024. Unfortunately we have had no sightings and we want to be hopeful but we have taken trap down and owner will call us if seen.

5/4/2024, we have not had any sightings since putting trap up.

Say hi to this 20 lb sweetie, Gabbie! She is 15 years old. She escaped from her house in Lafayette on April 20th and her very nice owner has been trying to catch her. She has many sightings per day mostly early morning and night. Let’s hope she likes her doggie condo and goes in tonight. Her owner wants her home and we are hoping to help him achieve that. We are at capacity for the number of dogs we typically take care of at our facility. ‼️

If you are thinking about adopting, NOW IS THE TIME!! We do offer a 2 week Foster With Intent to Adopt program, to be sure the selected dog is the correct fit for you & your family, before finalizing the adoption!!

🐾 All are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines and on monthly preventatives!! (Puppies will need booster vaccines at age appropriate times.)

Another quick trapping in Peru this afternoon. I was contacted yesterday by ACO Greg Douglass from City of Peru Animal Care & Control regarding a Pit Bull that had been hanging around a house for a month, but no one could get close to her. Found out today after Jeralyn and I got down there that the dog had been tied up near the house that it had been staying around 😔 Obviously waiting for its owner to come back. I saw the dog when we arrived, and she took off as soon as I stepped out of the vehicle. We set up our Tomahawk with Greg’s help. We knew she was still around, as we saw her after the trap had been set up. We drove around the block, then saw her heading down the alley toward the house, so we parked in a nearby lot and she went right in the trap!! Only took about 10 minutes. Greg came right back and picked her up and took her to the shelter. A huge thank you to Greg as well as the property owner for allowing us to set up our trap and camera. Rest easy, girl, as you are safe now.

So yesterday we set tomahawk at RHS and finally this morning this young GSD was hungry and went in trap. He circled a few times yesterday and again this morning. ACO Kelley did a great job as I (Jeralyn) had surgery this morning. Dog is safe at FCAC.
