So the wyndotte arthritis ward is up. Now the king of pooing Zoot can go outside with sweet slowing down Lafayette ...I still have to build a small courtyard for them. The idea is to have it soft an warm. So Robyn Hunter 1st part of the mission accomplished. Now

Very special breed of chook. Needs conserving ... quite rare.
Shelley McGrath-Woolley and Mark Mcgrath-Woolley would it really matter if we had 1 more lol. You may just notice the difference as it had devilish comb . I might not just not be able to sneak him in lol. I’d probably call it Hades.

So yesterday we had a lovely day. On behalf of the the love of roosters and their welfare.
As most of you are aware I volunteer with Rooster Warriors rehoming .
I would really like to thank the members of the Animal Justice Party for taking the time to listen to our concerns.
It was really nice to spend time with Zoe the Founder of Rooster Warriors rehoming. Visit Rebecca and meeting her lovely animals and the work she has done to save them and giving them a chance to have a wonderful life with love and all the care they need.
I really love spending time with people that care about animals and absolutely love every minute of meeting them.
Was lovely seeing Andy and Georgie and respect their ability to negotiate the politics of it all to work for change in laws etc to make a difference to the lives of these beautiful animals we share our world with that don’t get their voices heard no matter how loud they speak .
Rooster do speak quite loud.
Heard but not understood. 💜🐓💜

Good advice... 💜

So an Epsom salt bath is good to treat an egg bound hen. It's also a good pre-treatment for scaly leg mite, bumblefoot and many other chook ailments.

We always have Epsom salts and Iodine/Betadine our cupboard. Vaseline and olive oil spray is also very useful for scaly mite.
