My name is Krista and I have been grooming dogs for over 30 years professionally
My passion and love for animals also had me ( but separate from grooming) working for vet clinic along side the humane society which provided a vast array of medical knowledge and understanding to pets health and treatment on a array of topics related to health and providing care which has provided my grooming caree
r with added knowledge that is beneficial to providing a more value added trusted service. I worked for breeding kennels working with puppies/ training, The Wild Bird Care Center, boarding kennels, and owned my own grooming shop Barks and Bubbles at Britannia Villiage for 10 years until sold. Taking a brief step away from grooming and moving to Lake Huron , my venture led me on a very large scale dairy farm providing the cattle with needed medical care, from vaccinating to medicating etc. My approach to working with animals is an empathetic one and have always been successful in working with some of the most difficult due to my approach of working with the animal and for the animal. Calm energy and confidence allows me to gain their trust. I moved here to Metcalfe as Covid hit which has made many things difficult. I am grateful to have my dog Belle that is a border collie in which I rescued and is about 4 years old, and a Cat named Tom who’s an orange tabby who’s missing his tail.
