My mom Melissa Besiche with El Rancho de Marco and I participated in the first table top serama show in Wisconsin yesterday. It was our first time showing our birds and was the longest day ever. I left at 630am and my mom even earlier. I didn't get home until after 8 pm. Plus, we still had our own evening chores to do. Charlotte came with us and did great showing Noelle's bird and recieved Reserve class Champion Pullet for junior class! My mom got a Best of Variety on one of her frizzles too! There were 196 Seramas entered in the show. My sweet frizzle won Champion Frizzled Female and then continued on to win with Overall Champion Female. She was up against some really amazing, experienced competition! It was a long day but the judge was wonderful and there was such a great group of people there that cheered each other on!

On Day 159 Maybelline finally had her First kid. An F6 Mini Nubian doeling. Her name is still to be determined and I will post a bunch more pictures once it stops snowing and I get them outside Needless to say she will be retained!🥰

Here's an update on the Mini Nubian kids. They are one week old already! Happy and Healthy!

I love seeing the chick move inside the egg. Here is a video that I took the other day of the smallest chicken breed. The Serama chicken originated in Malaysia dating back to the 1600's. They have become popular house pets because of their size and docile nature! They are elegant creatures! I am so excited to be able to breed them! I Have to give credit to my mom for getting me into them!

We are so lucky to have the most beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Here is a video of the sunrise I took yesterday.

He has been working on the pastures every evening after work this week. He had to clear trees out of the fence line and gates in order to get the tractor in. Now he can replace a few fence posts and we can rotate pastures.
