Fudge has been to the groomers so I thought I would share some top tips to help prepare your dog. ⭐️

1) Confidence games
2) Calmness games
3) In a non-pressure environment practice a few handling games. Taking this slowly is the key to success.
4) Short game sessions – keep it fun.
5) Lots of positive reinforcement

Enrichment can come in many forms like a likit mat, snuffle mat or Kong’s. It’s a great way for them to use their brain in a quiet activity which can help aid relaxation. Using enrichment is also a fun way to incorporate ditch the food bowl into your day. Have you tried using enrichment with your dog(s) and if so which do you use?

A lovely afternoon spent at a local dog show. Fudge did amazingly well and came home with 3 rosettes. 1st place for the most handsome dog, 2nd for the waggiest tail and 3rd for the dog the judge would most like to take home.😃🐾
