Sad Saturday post:

I hate making posts like these but we've had a few last minute reschedules, cancellations and just no shows. I want to preface this by saying that we get it, we understand people make mistakes, forget or there are emergencies out of their control.

🐾What makes our salon special, and the reason so many people love us, is that we try to get to know every pet and give them individual attention in our kennel-free salon.

🐾The reason many groomers don't run salons like this is because we depend so highly on our clients to be on time and give us notice when they are not able to come in.

🐾Our policy is set as is because same day missed appointments do not give us much time to fill the appointment for the groomer.

🐾Groomers often work for commission which means if they lose that appointment and others that week they may face a loss in their pay that they cannot have.

🐾 Our salon also depends on the appointments as multiple lost appointments affect our ability to run the business and keep the groomers happy.

🐾🐾🐾 We don't want to become like every salon out there. We want to be able to continue to provide 1-on-1 services but we need clients to respect their appointment times and not laugh at our cancelation policy. Please be considerate of our small business and our dedicated groomers.

The salon will be closed September 5th to 9th so that Hailey and Heather can attend GroomExpo. This the largest educational seminar for Groomers in the country. They will both gain 3 certificates on geriatric grooming, skin and coat assessment as well as be able to attend a variety of different tutorial classes. We aim to always be a salon that is educated and can provide education to our clients.

At about the same, in just around 6 weeks, Daniel and I will have a newborn baby boy. I'm so thankful to everyone that has gotten us gifts and cards. All the kind words of advice and encouragement.

I really hope to see as many of my regulars before I go. We are in the process of hiring new people and want to make sure everyone can be accommodated. Please look ahead and book. Most of this month is full and due to the closure September is looking a little tight. We want to be here for you.

Barb has some important news!

Things will be changing soon and you guys may not see Daniel, Barb and I for some time.

We are excited and nervous for this new chapter in our lives and hope that once we are settled we can find a new normal for us, our team and our small salon.

Daniel and I will be welcoming a baby boy in about 8 weeks. We hope you can hang on this ride as we navigate new ground. We appreciate the support and any advice!

We have two appointments available today. Unfortunately we had some last minute reschedules which means we now have a groomer that's sad her schedule is not full. If you have an appointment you want to move up, please let us know.

We had over 45 people leave us awesome reviews! We can't say thank you enough. It feels so good to read through all the kind words and to know that we have a place in the hearts of so many clients. Giving back to one of our loyal clients feels great and we hope to make this an annual summer event and maybe even winter.

We hope everyone has had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend so far. Today we are closed but will be back Tuesdays to Saturday. You can always text us at 571-293-0835 with any questions.

We should all take the time to remember and honor those who have fallen as they served for this country. Also thank you to all the veterans, active members and families for all their sacrifices. As many if you know my brother is a veteran so we hold military personnel extra close to our hearts.

We hope everyone had a wonderful mother's day! Starting a small business was a task I knew would change me and allow me to grow in a way that I hadn't been able to before. An unforseen, unpredictable benefit of having this business has been getting to know so many kind, beautiful, strong, supportive, and loving women. 80% of our clients are women, they are mother's of human babies and furbabies.

A special happy mother's day to our very own Heather that just welcomed her baby girl into this world. A special thank you to every client that hugged her, gave her encouraging words and wished her well. You guys keep us strong. Thank you!

Anyone that came to our grand opening knows how popular these pupcakes are with the dogs. Barb inhaled hers so fast, I couldn't get a good picture. Chris runs her small business here in Leesburg and is passionate about only using the best ingredients in her recipes.

Eevie is a natural model. This pretty girl had her first spa experience at our salon and did phenomenal. A little shy at first but warms up so quickly. She is 10000000% a mommas girl. She forgot about us, the moment she saw her momma come in.

Kiki had her first haircut! This sweet little puppy is a natural model. We can't wait to see her again and guide her through grooming as she grows.

At least a couple of times a day someone asks us if Heather is okay, if she had her baby, and if she is coming back. She is doing well and is at home with her baby girl, Ryanne. She has given us permission to share some pictures of her adorable newborn.
Heather will be coming back some time in May. Thank you to everyone that has expressed so much love and appreciation for Heather, it means so much to her and us.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We were closed for a few days but are back in the salon today. I have what feels like millions of pictures on my phone. I still have many to edit and send out but here are a handful of Christmas puppirs. If by Sunday you guys did not recieve one, please reach out. I tried to get as many of our regulars as possible but know I missed some. Our photo booth will stay up for 2 more weeks, you are welcome to come by and snap pics just call or text us.

This is Sparty, Cora, and Baxter. They have been very good pups this year so they deserve everything on their wishlist. On their spare time they help with their moms business, Chubby Heart Cookies, as barketing elf on the shelf directors, cuddle buddies and cuteness inspo.
