Update 1/13/25 at 11:30pm.
Lots of behind the scenes. Gloria and I have been messaging and in communication with vets, rescues and fellow volunteers.
We are happy to share that I was able to text with David Loop and they can help the cat.
My friend will try to get the cat in a carrier tomorrow, if that doesn’t work, Alex will help trap. The goal is for my friend to transport to Sierra Pacific Furbabies on Tuesday 1/14/25. We’ll keep you posted on updates.
We’ll also ask for all pledges and donations to be sent to them. Thank you 🐾 💕

‼️ URGENT ‼️ 🆘 Rescue and medical needed for this female cat. A friend came across this cat in Bell Gardens and she spoke with the feeder. The feeder took in the kittens but only feeds this stray cat and can’t afford medical care or to take her in. She’s feeder friendly but a little scared towards others. My friend has tried texting Hope for Paws and Sam Simon foundation. We need someone to properly assess the situation. For now I think that the cat needs someone who can get her medical care and hold her for her recovery. 🆘 Please help

New project colony in East LA. This is the colony with the bottle babies and kittens that were recently rescued. This colony has about 15 cats to TNR.
Yesterday a fellow trapper was able to provide two last minute appointments and I couldn’t turn them down. In less than 5 minutes the two were trapped.
I’m grateful to Jill for holding them and transporting them.
I’ll keep you posted on updates.

12/1/24 update - Brenda went to assess the colony and spoke to an elderly neighbor.

She’s going to help the kitten with ear injury but she needs pledges / donations to get the cat help
