🇬🇧🇺🇸Genetic testing is a thing! They are working on analyzing the Puzzle gene already! So even if you don‘t have (sub)-adult het Puzzle females yet…. these het males are even worth more than before. By the time you hatch out possible hets, that service is much likely already available!

Die genetic der bestimmter morphe auf heterozygotie oder homozygotie zu testen ist bereits Realität. Am Aufschlüsseln der Puzzle genetic wird bereits gearbeitet. Das heißt auch wenn man noch keine subadulten/adulten het Puzzle Mädels hat, kann ein het Männchen, das pos het Nachwuchs produziert, jetzt noch wertvoller sein, da man die Nachkommen auf heterozygotie überprüfen kann!👍🏻

Again, no surprise, the slugs were easily palpable two weeks after ovulation. Ending up with 4 good eggs from this pairing. Now fingers crossed for some amazing hets to hold back!❤️🤞🏻

Just found the first pic ozzy sent me.😍 He was a pos OD by then and is proven OD by now. Another gene I believe came with this male is the weirdo gene. It first came to my mind when I hatched a Pastel Phantom het girl two years ago that had amazingly high white flanks and an aberrant pre tail section. There was no explanation why she was getting brighter and brighter growing up so I started to wonder what the weirdo gene actually does, how it expresses itself. But I wasn‘t quite sure if I was on the right track.
Just now when Ozzy brought out the video about the weirdo gene (I posted it earlier)I hatched two het females, again with distinct aberrations towards the tail. Too many coincidences for my likings.🤷‍♀️
I am expecting eggs from a pairing of my male back to his Pastel OD YB het daughter. We will hopefully see the first visuals from him and get a final assurance about the weirdo gene he might be carrying.
