Mom and I tuning up some distance handling skills that have gotten a little rusty! (And my fuzzy friend Bucky reminding us that he is out of shape and going for walks is hard work!)

My buddy and I like to climb stumps together!
Mom and I might have been helping this horse learn to become more comfortable pulling a load... or we may have been going for a sleigh ride.. đ§đ
A little winter time fun this afternoon!
Who needs agility equipment when you have mounting rocks and hitching rails!
For when youâre dead on youâre feet but your border collie still has a couple dozen miles left in her.. uphill fetch!
In case anyone was wondering whether Iâm still a puppy at heart!
A successful track= a happy (and toasty) pup!
I am a beautiful fairy princess đ»
My first time EVER finding pseudo cadaver! We put it in a lineup and mom planned to reward the slightest interest, but I gave her a full indication right away (after trying to get the reward by showing her the trick I learned on these cones previously) mom was so excited we went straight to finding the scent in an open field, which I got as well! Mom is very proud of me for getting another scent in my repertoire so quick!
Got caught in my first thunderstorm at work with mom today! She told me she loves storms, so I decided... well not to love them, but to like them ok... itâs tough to love rain that goes sideways straight into your eyes!
Practicing the closest you can get to a blind hide when youâre training alone. Close your eyes, spin in a circle, and fling it as far as you can. Then trust the dog and hope your training was good enough that youâre not out a knife!
One of my favorite pastimes when mom is being boring is to watch the cars go by out the window. Every once in a while a car sings to me on its way past and well, it would be awful rude not to sing back!
Next update in the saga we like to call âheck yea mom Iâll climb anything!â Took about six laps of that brush pile to calculate the best angle to climb it from, but I made it up!
Beware the crinkle chickens! Donât say I didnât warn you đđ
Was I really ever small enough for this kong??

I was reunited with my aunty Kailey and my sister paisley today! We thought it would be fun for me to track to her, but I caught her scent right outta the car and skipped the whole track to zooom straight to her! Mom says itâs ok to track like a wild dog juuust this once
A little game we like to call đ”dumb stuff with momđ”
How come itâs snowing in April?? Maybe if I catch all the flakes before they hit the ground it can really be spring!!
Going to work with mom constantly presents new challenges to work through. Yesterday we learned that even if something makes big echoey noises, it can still be safe to walk on, and you just might get a ball out of the deal!
I seem to have fallen behind on my baby pictures promise. To atone for this mistake, hereâs me discovering my dog bed on my first day with mom!
I also learned about car washes the other day. My thoughts on going in a dark soapy tunnel with tentacles: đ€·đ»ââïž my thoughts on treats in the soap tunnel: đ
Learned two facts today. 1: sticks are great fun, and 2: the sharks live further out in the lake, this shallow stuff is safe for puppies!
Just sittin on my sister, grabbin a drink
Can I interest anyone in 2 pups in a box?
You say go up, I find something tall! (Not a baby vid, just a present day adventuresome roula!)
Early days of hiking with mom. I got tripped on a lot because I was superglued to her at all times! (Excuse the shoddy camerawork, mom was distracted by an adorable puppy)
Day two of shelter in place and weâre already gettin a little squirrelly... whoâs up for a baby picture/ video a day until itâs lifted? This one is from the first day both my ears stood up!
A smiley puppy is the best partner a girl could ask for!
My aunty Kailey is the bestest!
Mom decided to move a bunch of snow around. Not sure why but I figured Iâd go with her anyway.. Iâm sure Iâm being super helpful and not at all distracting!
Do you ever just get really excited and need to flail at your mom?
After hearing about all the crazy cool things Iâm learning to do at college with mom, would you believe that the biggest training challenge weâve faced has been something as simple as riding in the car? Its true: on the day mom brought me home as a tiny puppy, I got really carsick. Unfortunately classical conditioning can be really powerful and my baby brain decided that car =time to produce copious amounts of saliva (a precursor to vomiting). I only was sick in the car one other time but as soon as mom got out her car keys I would start slobbering buckets. Itâs been a long road of different distracting treats and car configurations and really neither mom nor I is totally sure what finally clicked but when she decided to switch me back to the front seat (initially my most slobbery place) I suddenly stopped drooling. Since then we have spent months making sure that the new conditioning is solid. I still slobber a little on rare occasions when something gets me really worked up in the car- essentially just when I can see another dog playing training games outside and I wanna get in on the action- but for the most part mom and I are able to enjoy car rides together and today to both of our surprise and excitement I nailed my first long car ride! Over four hours in the car and I slept through nearly the entire thing!! Can you tell mom is super proud of me??
