After loosing his dad Truffles earlier this year it almost seemed to good to be true to have this guy join us. With the same big personality like his father we shall see what his future holds.

We have made the very hard decision to move on this lovely mumma, Tui has produced some lovely pups that have all gone on with excellent hip and elbow scores. Tui is a real treasure and would suit a family or elderly couple, Tui is easy going loves farm life all animals are her friends therefore I think she would be best suited to home with land where she has the space to explore and do her favourite thing which of course is retrieve from the dam.

Could not agree more

This message is so important.

Please stop letting your dog charge up to other dogs. I know it might appear that your dog just ‘wants to say hello’ or be social but it’s dangerous for your dog, and for owners of nervous or reactive dogs, it is a stress-inducing nightmare.

I see this happen all the time, and I cringe watching the body language of the dogs that get ambushed. When you see a person change direction with their dog or suddenly cross the road, please take that as a sign that they do not want your dog to approach.

🦮Almost at the end of 2022 Loumaya followers

I can't thankyou all enough for your support this year. The past 12 months has saw us welcome 2 litters of beautiful labradors and one human baby. But it also saw the loss of our great friend and mentor Marj Deignan, who has been in the labrador world breeding quality Labrdors since 1958.

Marj's quote, “Always striving towards combining beauty with brains for a dual purpose Labrador” is what lead me to her. I just knew I needed to pick her brain and catch her wisdom. Anyone that knew Marj knows that you would always get her honest opinion, and best of all she could back that opinion until the cows came home.

I feel so privileged that Marj chose us to home RIKIM CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES, Marj's recent Best Of Breed Champion at Melbourne Royal 2022. Well did the tears flow that day, I can still clearly hear Marj on the phone- “WHAT A WAY TO GO OUT!”

Looking forward to what 2023 has on offer for Loumaya Labradors.
