Thanks to Alaska's Hope Animal Rescue - AHAR - Cleveland, TX for fostering, we were able to take the last two shep pups in the video. The two husky shep sisters and their great pyr friend were picked up by another rescue two nights later. The rest are still out there. We were able to give them prevention to help relieve their flea stricken skin. Brat Hilton Lisa Hilton Noble Alexis Allred are out there doing this every night. The heat is brutal, the bugs are hell, the dirt and dust is all over your body, in your nose and dries your eyes out. But they keep going.

After being made a promise to be cared for by another rescue, Gia found herslef in NYC Animal Contol. When they contacted the rescue, they were told they would not be picking her up. To that we say barf, ew, gross. So we picked her up! Gia is a 2 year old #kelpie mix who is smart, sweet and active. We were able to save Otis before his time was up! At around 2 years old, this nearly 70 lb boy is a total lap dog. He loves to play with toys and run around and around the play yard. Happy is a senior boy with a pep in his step. He is very sweet indoors, always game to play, rests a lot during the day, is extremely loyal, would be happy to be someone's buddy dog. He loves and needs outdoor time either on a leash with someone who understands leash reactivity and excitement towards moving trucks (hello cattle dog!) or out in a yard where he can romp and run around. Just because Happy has some quirks (like all of us 🙄) doesn’t mean he deserves any less than the best life.
Happy would prefer to be the only dog in the home. No cats or small kids please! He is house trained, crate trained and enjoys doggy daycare and boarding. Happy comes with 4 training sessions with Pawsitive Progress Academy (local only) to work on leash and truck reactivity.
