🏇🏆 What a year it's been! 🎉 As the sun sets on 2023, we can't help but reflect on the incredible journey we've had together. This has truly been a record-breaking year for WEM Racing Stable!
🥇 Our horses earned over $3 million and snagged 6 stakes victories! 🏆🏆🏆 To say we're over the moon would be an understatement. A massive shoutout to our phenomenal team, dedicated owners, and, of course, our exceptional equine athletes.
Each stride, each race, was a testament to the hard work, passion, and commitment that defines our stable. 🏇💨 It's not just about the wins; it's about the journey, the camaraderie, and the shared love for these majestic creatures.
🙌 A sincere thank you to everyone who played a part in our successes – jockeys, grooms, and the wonderful owners who trust us with their horses. It's been an unforgettable journey.

Double check that all your KY Bred yearlings are registered with the KDTF to be eligible for purse bonuses in Kentucky! Yearling registration is only $100 but jumps to $350 for horses of racing age!

The landscaping team is hard at work as you can see.

We do our best to find appropriate jobs for all our retired runners. While we wish they all could be three-day-eventers, some horses like Kid Green and Off Kilter don't work out in their second careers. We are thankful we are able to provide these two, along with retired stable pony Puffy, with a safe and happy retirement at our farm in Lexington.

It's the end of the month which means we're getting bills sent out! I'm not sure how well our new office assistant is going to work out, she said she can type 70 wpm but I have my doubts. Thankfully we have Horsebills.com software to keep us organized. We check every bill twice before it gets sent out which can sometimes take a couple extra days but we think it's worth it to make sure they are as accurate as possible!

Congratulations to our good friend and client Gerald D Sandin on his MSW win at the Big A with Asmodeus last night!
Asmodeus was purchased at OBS March from Wavertree Stables for $115,000. This was his third start.
Can't wait to see what's next from this promising c**t who is a full sibling to Mont Perdu.

You don't train many horses that can win stakes at 6 furlongs and 1 1/8 miles. Visitant raced from age 3 to 7, set a new track record at Turfway Park, and has been one of the classiest horses we've ever trained. After more than four years together to say he will be missed around the barn is an understatement. Good luck in your next chapter big guy.
