Some chestnuts we grew in our mini chamber while we work on the big boy. I’ve never tasted them before this and they are great! They kinda taste like pumpkin seeds to me which seems perfect for a fall soup 😋Can’t wait time bring all these to the Muskegon farmers market!

This is what you can expect from our grow your own kits when we have them available! This was a lions mane bag that I just set outside to see how well it would fruit. Set in a shady area and let it grow! So beautiful to watch grow and super yummy to eat. Grow your own kits will be available soon!

Got a pretty good harvest from these lions mane 😊 unfortunately it got to hot in the grow room and dried them out a bit so I wouldn’t want to sell them. But what I AM going to do is dehydrate them and make some tinctures out of them. For those who do not know. Lions mane mushrooms are very good for the brain. Gonna be fruiting some blocks in this grow tent until we get our bigger facility up and running! Can grow up to 50 lbs of mushrooms a week in this bad boy. Once the other facility is up should be 4x that. Also built our steam sterilizer that can fit up to 25 10lb sawdust blocks a day apposed to the 4 I can fit in my pressure cooker. Sometimes you have to improvise when you can find what you need 😂 Slowly and steady wins the race!

From left to right. Black pearl king oysters, white enoki, golden morels (working on a side experiment) , Pink oysters, golden oysters and king oysters, already have lions mane and speckled chestnuts goin. Should be fruiting in about a week! Working out of a smaller fruiting chamber for now until the bigger facility is ready. Can’t wait!
