My final adoption post. 💔

Honestly I never thought I would be making this post. I thought these boys would stay with me forever. I got them at 3 weeks old and they have been with me since June of ’22. My longest and last fosters.

People always tell me they could never do this because they could never give the kittens up. I will admit sometimes are harder than others.
However I knew they were going with the right person. 🤍🤍

In September of 2018 I saw a news story about a project in Kinston, NC where they were spaying/neutering feral cats. I figured it was worth a shot to reach out and see if they ever come across feral kittens that need socialization (because who doesn’t love spicy kittens). Thank god for Kim and Lucky Cats of Kinston for taking a chance on me and trusting me with my very first foster, Eli. Fast forward 4 and a 1/2 years later and I have seen 76 little souls come through my house. I have loved every one of them and I think about them all the time.

Unfortunately life happens, and between my personal life and work life, I am unable to continue my foster journey. I do hope that one day my life will accommodate fostering again. I miss having tiny kittens running around.

In the meantime, I plan on keeping this account open so I can look back at memories and so my adopters will still have a way to contact me.

Food for thought. If all of us helped our friends, family and neighbors spay and neuter their pets, there would be next to no need for animal shelters, rescue groups or TNR groups.

Let me re-introduce to you, Mike.
I couldn’t tell you the last time we called him Mike.l though. His name is woz, woz-a-logs, wozzy, etc.
Woz is a special boy. He’s so goofy and loves to play. He is pure entertainment and you won’t stop laughing when he’s around. He likes to lay near you but not on you. Which is great because that leaves room for his brother!
He is looking for his forever home and we hope that’s you!

It’s been several months since these two boys came into the ENC foster kittens home. So..,,

Let me re-introduce to you, Sully.
Sulls-skully boy-sweeeeeet boy. And every nickname inbetween. 🤍 This boy is as close to a Velcro kitty as one can be. He loves his people and constantly likes to be around them. He is a lap cat true and true. Even when his foster mom is in the shower, he has to be right there (he is a great towel warmer though). He is a perfect gentleman and even though his brother tries to wrangler him into shenanigans, he normally resists. He does love a ping pong ball though. He is turning into a handsome man. He deserves his forever home. Please share.
