Creating moments and spaces for our kids to make memories is my greatest joy. We’ve been planning to surprise them with their own garden for a while now, which is why I was so excited to learn that @Fiskars just came out with a line of Kids’ Outdoor Tools! Made just for kids- these gardening tools really made the space feel like their own and I love seeing how excited they are to get outside and explore their creativity. Shop Fiskars Kids’ Outdoor Tools on Amazon or Target, or learn more about the full line on Fiskars.com #fiskarspartner #growyourown #gardeningwithkids #garden #gardening

The pomegranates are literally just falling apart with goodness right now! Most Pomegranate cultivars grow in zone 8-10. This was my first year growing them and I’m so happy that I did! Are you a pomegranate lover?
Trouble in paradise LOL😳. Well, we built the fortress but nature has a way of working around our plans sometimes 🙃 At least we are keeping out the deer and rabbits which are the biggest garden destroyers here. Still winning 🥰#dreambigurbanfarm
I have tried many things in life. Along the way I asked myself if “this was the thing that I was made for…the thing that would make me feel like a part of my life’s significance was being fulfilled”. Many of the things that I have done over the years were really important parts of my journey that I needed. To revisit a part of my childhood and get back to growing food has been the greatest surprise of all. I started growing food in my 40’s and what started as a private garden no were to be found on social media has turned into my greatest passion…to inspire others to grow. I’m blown away and grateful to be a part of your life and want to remind you that great surprises are in your future. Keep doing what brings you joy and share it with the world around you…great adventure awaits you. #dreambigurbanfarm
Loving this soundbite today, and thinking about The uniqueness that each of us possess.. There’s only one you and you are a gift to the world around you…shine bright! 🌟#dreambigurbanfarm

Awe Boscobel by @david_austin_roses What are your favorite roses? 💕 #dreambigurbanfarm
I redesigned our front entry with standard rose trees, hydrangeas, foxgloves, delphinium, lavender and salvia. The color palette is- soft pink, purple and blue, and I can’t wait to show it to you when it’s in full bloom💜💕💙. What projects are you working on in your garden? #dreambigurbanfarm
When we bought our new house 6 months ago, this existing garden was in bad shape! We saw it’s potential, and wanted to make it a beautiful and functional again. We cleaned it up and are planning to use this space for a flower cutting garden. I’m going to plant a bunch of Dahlias and other flowers, which I can hardly wait for. We also added a chicken run in the garden, so that the girls can come down and forage. 🐓. What projects are you working on this month? #dreambigurbanfarm
What are your favorites when it comes to perennial flowers? #dreambigurbanfarm
I love growing roses in the landscape because we always have fresh arrangements when they are in season and blooming! #dreambigurbanfarm
Adding mulch to your garden conserves moisture, keeps the roots of your plants cool, and suppresses weeds. Over time your mulch will decompose and add organic material to your soil, which will produce healthier soil. You can use, straw, wood chips or compost.👩🌾
I planted a bunch of sweet and hot peppers today, and mini eggplants 🫑🌶🍆💕👩🌾 I’d love to hear what you’re planting this week. #dreambigurbanfarm
