⭐️Teddy⭐️

Teddy came to Prairie Star three years ago to be a lesson horse. Although he was only a riding horse for one summer in our program he taught us many lessons including take time to let those around you know you love them, take time to be silly and quality time is always important.

Teddy was a lovable prankster! He had this ability to silently sneak up behind you to get a head scratch, hug or kiss. He would try to sneak out of the gate at any opportunity, grab onto any piece of clothing he could on your arm to hold near for a moment, check your pockets for treats or his favourite goldfish crackers, and just be by you for some for extra love.

In Teddy’s recent years he did some EAL lessons, helped out during some pony club education days and enjoyed being groomed by his friends.

One of the best stories is when the fencer was working in his pen one summer, Teddy thought he could help. First we heard “Teddy let go of that!” and turns out he had a hold of his tool belt while he was standing on the ladder. Next we hear “Teddy get back here!” and Teddy was taking tools out of the back of the side by side to go work on the fence himself.

Teddy’s loving, gentle and prankster personality will be greatly missed. Thank you Teddy for all the lessons you have taught us at your time at Prairie Star ⭐️

This past weekend we had the Pathways to High Performance Clinic with hosted by the
We were grateful for the opportunity to host this amazing clinic. It was a very positive learning experience for everyone who attended
We would like to thank the wonderful community we have at Prairie Star Stables for all of the effort everyone put in to help get ready for this clinic. We could not have done this without the support and help of you all
