Spirit Standard Poodles Breeding and showing quality, versatile Standard Poodles for healthy performance and pet dogs.

Our Standard poodles exemplify the versatility of this wonderful breed. Our breeding dogs are titled in competition in show, agility, hunting, obedience, weight pull, lure coursing, dock jumping, and more. We have over 25 UKC Best in Show awards on dogs we own or bred and most of our dogs finish their show year in the UKC Top Ten Poodles. ALL genetic health screenings on our breeding dogs are comp

lete and available for viewing on OFA online. Puppies are available occasionally, and performance homes are preferred. We believe poodles are a sporting dog, and deserve a chance to exercise their minds and bodies (plus they love to show off to a crowd!)

Happy 3rd Birthday to Mario and his littermates (CobaltXJynkx)! Mario is one of my faves, a young dog who is SO talented and beautiful. Such a great working dog with an off switch. He has been stacking up the Nosework titles and is now competing in Agility with his co-owners too!

We had fun at the United Poodle Association National Specialty! Perdita was the Best in Show Veteran! Wednesday won Reserve Grand Champion in a 17 poodle class, and Saffron was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners! There were 116 poodles showing in this fabulous speciality! We had a fabulous weekend, but I'll start with my favorite - Mario and I won Total Dog Best in Show in a quality group of 30+ qualifying dogs! This prestigious UKC award is for winning in conformation and performance in the same show. Thanks to his co-owners Deb and Taylor Kendall who showed and trained him in nosework to achieve this and the panel of judges who chose him! I just love this dog's fabulous temperament and versatility, he is what I strive to breed for!

Saffron and I went to her first AKC show. She did so well and was patient for her first "spray up", the loud chaos of the show buildings, the hotel stays, long drive, and so much more that makes a show weekend.

Saffron tried on a new fit at Petco - should we go back and get it? I do love a Canadian Tuxedo 🤣

At the UKC Midwest Classic, Wednesday did very well! In tons of quality competition (15-17 standards) she won 4 Champion classes, 2 Best of Breed over grands, and a Group 1 and 2! She got 4 legs towards her Grand this weekend! She's also learning to be less of a Wicked Wednesday!

We are considering a litter with Georgie and Blackjack tha goes home around June 30th. These puppies are bred with longevity and health in mind, breeding more closely on Roxie who lived 16 long, healthy years, and with a healthy sire who is 13.If you would be interested in silver, blue, or parti from this litter, please comment below.

Excited about Saffron's future! She is the 3rd generation of my breeding and finally a silver, but also is a genetic outlier for the breed (OI of .38)!! Pretty, stable temperament, good moving and with genetics that benefit the breed. She is 🐩 #goals!

There is a big dog show at the St. Paul Rivercenter on Jan. 5-7. Spectators are welcome! Come watch us if you want!

Last minute camping trip for socializing Saffron! Since she will be traveling in the RV for shows next year, it's imperative she go as a young puppy. So far, she is taking everything in stride, so calm and relaxed! I ❤️ this puppy! What are you doing to socialize your new puppy?
