K9 Scent Seekers provides a chance for teams learning the sport of K9 Nose Work to have fun, build skills and meet other members of this community. Thank you.
Run by Certified Nose Work Instructors (CNWI) trained by the NACSW (US) K9 Scent Seekers aims to prepare events and fun sessions in a variety of locations for teams on odour or learning the sport. All levels and experiences are welcome to join events to practice, share experiences and learn in a friendly and welcoming environment. Teams that have learnt through any methodology are welcome to join
events and practice. Odours that will be used include Birch, Anise and Clove. (New seekers will be advised to learn the sport with a certified NACSW instructor)
With the vision that all teams can join events, teams must respect the personal space of other handlers and dogs. Handlers are asked not to allow dogs to socialise or free roam at any search site as it will distract working teams. Handlers are asked to keep dogs at a safe and respectful distance of other dogs. Please aim to have them in cars or crated unless being mindfully exercised on lead. Teams are asked to follow directions of the organising marshals present at any event. Let the sniffing begin!

Yesterday we had a Scent Seekers fun day. It was the first one that Jo had not attended. Jo, we missed having you there and Celeste and I did the best we could. I think we did ok. We had lots of laughs, I’m not sure if they were laughing at us or with us.
The theme for the day was party. With a bit of Christmas in July thrown in for good measure.
The main room started out with a party and by the second round the party goers certainly had had a good time . Thanks Celeste for being part of the day and for all your help, and we thank everyone for coming along and taking your chances without Jo being there.
A chilly start to our fun day today.
The next Crazy Canines and Awesome K9 Sniffers K9 Scent Seekers Day has booked out once again in record time.
Thank you everyone for your ongoing support.
Looking forward to seeing you all at the end of July for an amazingly good time….theme yet to be decoded…but teaser photo just for good measure!
Keep on sniffin’
And some more. There was some very brave dogs to get so close to the giant unicorn.
Some more pics from our Unicorn and Rainbows day.
