Jonas here, I just want to take a second to rant about my favorite kind of goat- Nubians.
If you’ve ever wondered to yourself “I wonder if there’s a goat that loves people, scratches on the neck, and will talk back to people?” Then I would tell you there is, and that goat is a Nubian goat.
Nubians are known for their loving personalities, big floppy Dumbo ears, and their loud mouths(Yes, they’re the loudest breed of goat and every single morning at 6:30AM when they see me they start screaming bloody murder for their breakfast like I didn’t just feed them the night before).
It’s not all sunshine and rainbows with Nubians, they can be more susceptible to parasites, and their lanky build doesn’t make them the most hardy goat, but they’re my favorite none the less!
This is Minnow. Minnow is just over three months now, and has quickly become one of my favorites on the farm. The way she runs up to me every time she hears my voice, and her ears bounce up and down for every step remind me a lot of Marvel.
