We drove to the other side of Pikeville KY Sunday to pick up this baby and get him the help he hadn't had for quite sometime after being dumped. We decided to name him Cooper as that seemed very fitting for him. The person who found and posted him initially thought he had been shot, however after his vet visit today with Brad Rohleder at elk creek, it was determined this was a ruptured mass. He underwent surgery today to remove the mass, a dental with extractions, stye removal that caused issues with his eye. He has a bacteria infection, will be on antibiotics and pain meds till he mends. The bill today was covered, thanks to Susan who donated and Shamrock who picked up the remainder. He still has to be neutered and have his vaccines updated and that is going to require more money. If you can find it in your heart to help so we can move closer yo being able to adopt him and make his life better than it has been that would be greatfully appreciated. UPDATE ON BOUNTY: After completing the necessary medication for the first trial of heartworm treatment, Bounty went for his first injection today. He is obviously sore and worn out. He will be on another round of prednisone and his next injection is Nov 29th with the last one on the 30th. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts as he is not out of the woods as of yet. He is such a sweet boy and deserves to have a great home with a loving family who will give him all the love and attention he needs to thrive ❤️

THIS FELLA WAS PULLED FROM BCAS TO SAVE HIS LIFE AND GET HIM TREATED AND HEALTHY AGAIN. PLEASE HELP US MAKE THIS HAPPEN FOR HIM. HIS HEARTWORM TREATMENTS WILL COST $1000 AND THAT DOESNT COVER THE COST OF VACCINES AND NEUTER WHEN THAT CAN BE DONE. WE CANT MAKE THIS HAPPEN WITHOUT THE COMMUNITY SO PLEASE HELP. We are urgently asking for the publics help to get heartworm treatments taken care of for a hound that wandered into the county and showed up at a farm before landing himself in the shelter in hopes that owner would reclaim but that didn't happen. He was to be vetted but upon exam it has been determined that he is on the high side of heartworms so he needs help in order to survive this diagnosis. Please help us save this sweet babies life. Anything helps and it takes a village sometimes to make miracles happen.

*URGENT* This sweet fella is Bounty and he is in desperate need of our help. He tested positive for heartworms and its on the moderate to high side so time is of the essence to get treatment started. He will be coming to stay with me while treatments are done and we get him healthy again. He is a super sweet docile young fella and didn't deserve the neglect and abandonment he received . So with that being said we need the communities help in order to save this precious boy. Anything helps and is greatly appreciated. Please help me save this boy and get him into a great home. FOSTER FAILURE: Jamie has gotten attached and after yrs of not having a dog Olivia is now HOME❤️

Our new intake today. Why can't people be responsible and why is everyone giving away their animals. They are or should be considered family and a lifetime commitment. If you don't want to take care of puppies, spay your female dogs before they get pregnant. Anyway, this cutie is headed to her foster home and we will update later after she is settled in.

Kylo and Bella had a good first night here. They are the sweetest pair and really need a home and family. They will be updated on vaccines which is all they need. Please share to help find them a new home.

Everyone meet Bella and Kylo. They are daschound mixes and new to rescue due to owner being evicted and having nowhere to live. They are already spayed/nuetered and microchipped; they just need to be updated on vaccines. Their owner never took the time to housebreak them but they will use potty pads. We are going to work on housebreaking here. They both enjoyed a bath today as they desperately needed it. If you are interested or have questions about them, feel free to reach out to me. They will be needing a forever home after they're updated on vaccines. They get along with cats but no big dogs. Thank you

UPDATE: STARFIRE HAD SURGERY TODAY AND IS BACK HOME WITH HER OWNER RECOVERING. THANK YOU TO THOSE THAT DONATED TOWARDS HER CARE SO THAT SHE COULD GO ON LIVING HER LIFE AND BE PAMPERED BY HER MOM.

This cat is Srarfire and she is a sweet house cat that belongs to Holly Bishop. She has already spent hundreds of dollars on her beloved pet trying to get her help so she doesn't loose her. She needs an astotomy as she has bladder stones and is no longer eating or drinking. My rescue is donating $500 towards her surgery but that is all the funds we have available. Her surgery is estimated to be between $800-$1000. The surgery will be done at elk creek of fisherville by Brad Rholeder on Monday. Please help me help this precious baby and her worried fur mom so she doesn't loose this cat that she absolutely adores.This cat will not survive without this surgery. Any amount will help. Thank you to everyone eryone that donated for this cats health needs. I returned him to his neighborhood and the porch where he gets fed daily last night. He is all healed up and was full of purrs last night. Because of you all, he can go on living his best life❤️

UPDATE: HE HAS AN ABSCESS WHICH IS BEING TAKEN CARE OF AND IS BEING NEUTERED AS WELL WHILE HE IS SEDATED SO ITS A WIN WIN FOR THIS GUY!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR DONATING AND HELPING HIM.

All money has been donated and this guy is going to the vet in the morning to be treated for his issue. Thank you to everyone that donated today to make this happen.

$56 is all that's left to be needed to get this cat help. Any little bit helps and thank you.

SO FAR $215 IS BEING DONATED. FOR SEDATION, CLEANING OF THE WOUND, CLOSURE IF NECESSARY, ANTIBIOTICS AND RABIES WE NEED $75 MORE AND THIS CAT CAN GET BACK TO BEING HEALTHY. THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO HAVE DONATED AND HOPEFULLY THOSE THAT WILL TO MEET OUR GOAL.

This poor kitty has made a neighborhood in our community its home and visits a certain family daily. He recently was noticed to have an injury and the family wants to get medical care for him but doesn't have the finances at this time to do that nor do they know how to do a fundraiser so im stepping up because that's just who I am, I know shocker right. Please donate to help this kitty so we can get his medical issue taken care of before it becomes more serious. You can donate here or to my venmo -vires. They say roses are red and violets are blue but this Violet is adorable and cute and will be looking for her forever home after she starts her vaccines next week. We got called about a very young pup that was picked up on the side of the road trying to stay warm next to mom and the rest of the litter whom had unfortunately been hit and killed. Will post update and pictures as soon as we have the pup secure and access it to know it is going to be okay. Please say a prayer for this pup, thank you

I know I haven't posted much on here but having so many furbabies to take care of is alot of work. To update everyone, the final 2 pups have been adopted and will be going to there new home today. I wanted to personally thank everyone for trusting me and having faith in me to make a difference out here for the animals in need. Posted below are a couple of elderly ladies that were dumped out here and came to me in horrible conditions and look at them now! Its amazing what a little love, patience, medical care and time can make in a dogs life. I'll post the before and after of both so you can see the difference. The first will be Gracie and the second is Ginger. Gracie was hours away from death and poor ginger couldnt walk because her paws were so irritated. They are happy and although will be on medication the remainder of their days, they are happy and healthy now. Thank you to all that support me in making a differnce. .

So the lady that really wanted this little guy Bandit has had to back out due to work, so he is still available. He is the baby of the litter and super sweet and affectionate. He loves to give kisses and is a little spoiled as his foster mom and her daughter hold him quite a bit lol. He is a wire hair terrier and will prob remain on the smaller side. If you are interested in meeting him please let us know. His adoption fee is $200 which includes 1st vet visit exam, first vaccines, dewormed, microchip and neuter is also being covered when he is old enough. He is too cute for his own good and won't last long. Please share this post, thank you.
