Tour our awesome reptile facility and get a hands-on animal experience you can't get anywhere else!

We captivate our audiences with an outstanding display of exotic animals, presented in a safe, fun and informative manner. 

Our educational tours promote awareness and respect for all living things, and feature the most diverse collection of exciting reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates and much, much more!

Animals are displayed in a show-and-tell format and audience participation is not only welcomed, but strongly encouraged.  All of our critters are very tame, allowing you and your party a hands-on experience so you can see exactly what makes each animal so unique.

Many of our animals are quite large and all of them are memorable in presence and rarity.

$20 per person. Kids 3 and under are free. Reservations are not required but space is limited so we suggest calling ahead to reserve your spot. (603) 382-3338. Arrive 15 minutes early and check in at the front counter. We look forward to seeing you!

Adult Female Chilobrachys fumosus cf. “Black Satan”

Chilobrachys fumosus cf. “Black Satan” is an obligate burrower/fossorial tarantula from India. This locality of fumosus is known for its rich black coloration. When freshly molted they are truly breathtaking. A deep substrate of 8-12 inches is ideal, though they can be housed in a more terrestrial setup with tree roots and other anchor points for webbing. They will web up the entire enclosure, which is definitely impressive as a display animal! This variant has not come into the country since the initial importation!
