When Mom and Dad first took me in, I didn’t feel like playing. I was grumpy a lot, and “bitey” because I could hear the cats outside. Two weeks after my surgery though, I only nip Mom and Dad when I want to play — right after I wake up, after my meals, after I use the litterbox...
When I get tired, I give my flannel blanket a good wrestle before taking a nap.

When Mom and Dad give me wet food, I lick my bowl clean.
Mom and Dad give me kibble too, especially when they’re out because dry food doesn’t attract ants (as far as I can tell at least); but they make sure I eat a lot of wet food when they’re home.
They say wet food helps keep my kidneys healthy. I just think it’s the yummiest thing there is.
