**Please put out water for wildlife in this heat**

It’s been a hot one in Southern Ontario, and it's expected to continue. This makes us think of our wildlife and their need for water in this heat 🌞

Help by putting out water for wildlife during this hotter weather:

💦 put out a misting hose or sprinkler in a shady spot of your garden
💦 use shallow plastic or ceramic bowls or a bird bath and add rocks, marbles or even sticks so that small animals, birds and even insects can take advantage of a drink or cool bath without risk of drowning
💦 do NOT use metal bowls as they will become hot and can harm wildlife and pets
💦place water in a shady area out of the way of pets and foot traffic
💦 check on your water dishes daily
💦 keep water sources clean and fresh

You will be surprised how popular these will become, and may be a great opportunity for watching some beautiful wildlife in your yard!

Oreo had just passed away the night before . I took Mungo out after work for a hike to enjoy the beautiful Autumn day. My mind was consumed with grief and overwhelmed with the pain of Oreo's passing. I stopped to sit, take in the peace and collect myself and thoughts.
As we sat there listening to the movement of the breeze and noise of the birds, I noticed Mungo looking up. He has never done this and he's never done it since, but at that moment, he was looking up for a good five minutes. I snapped this picture because at that moment, I do believe his brother was with us, comforting us and letting his brother know he was ok and still near.......❤️
