I was once the size of this little pup when I got rescued from a fur farm. I still think of all the foxes that were there when I left...
Mom has already gotten half of them out. But we still have 250 more to save.
We have just less than a week to reach our monthly $5,000 fundraiser goal.

We also want to give you a little update regarding our Fur Farm Fox Fundraiser! We have made a lot of progress and had lots of new expenses recently.

🦊 Currently 5-10k is spent a month SPECIFICALLY on the fur-farm rescue foxes care. All the ones remaining at the fur farm are still under our care costs until we get them out.

🦊 Two new part-time team members have been employed since fur farm rescue mission started.

🦊 We are offering grants and/or staffing to reputable sanctuaries that are taking 20 or more foxes.

🦊 We have so far spent 100K on new fencing and enclosures for rescue foxes. About 100k more will be put into fencing.

🦊 We are having to get an extra barn put up to to properly hold supplies for this many animals, as well as a clinic room on site at both locations. Around another 100k for all that.

🦊 Our initial fundraiser was for around 700k. And that was just a minimum we were needing to start this big project.

🦊 We have spent roughly $450,000 since the start of the fur farm rescue fundraiser.

I don’t think any fox has been more aptly named than miss Floofala! She’s the perfect representation of fluff! Did you know her full name is “Stinky Mistress Houdini Floofala”?

This name is a reference to her past. When she was a kit, she was born on a furfarm.

Somehow, when she was very small, she got out of the furfarm cage, and was found crawling around beneath the cages covered in p**p.

The odor was so strong that even after several baths she smelled terrible. The little Houdini did eventually stop smelling, but her escape saved her life!

Since the farmer did not know which cage she came from, she was able to come live her life at SAF.

We are currently fundraising to move 500 foxes from a SHUT DOWN furfarm! We have raised roughly 500k/700k at this point! The first 150 foxes have already been moved to their new homes! Sorry you guys haven't seen much of me lately. I've been really shy. I haven't let anyone pet me in months. Mom says this is normal for female foxes this time of year, Emmie is being shy too. But it's okay, it's just a phase and that we get sweet again in the spring 🦊 I might become friends with Cerberus. Wow he's fast for only having three legs! -Video by Merri

I let mom hold me today. It was only worth it because I got treats afterwards 🦊 Very rarely do I let ANYONE touch my Floof. It's the forbidden Floof. I'm to majestic to be touched. But sometimes mom can.
