Schnitzel (the perfect dog) finally got adopted this weekend!!
His mom says! We are so happy to have Schnitzel (now Sparky) come to our family! Not only is this little boy an absolute gem on his own, he is the perfect playmate we wanted for our Willow. Thanks so much to all of you for making this happen.
Josie and Iris both still up for adoption. Both very active, social, sweethearts. Josie under 20 pounds. Both would love to have doggie siblings, both pretty prey driven, probably not good with cats, but love people of all sizes.
Folks we just had over a $500 vet bill getting these two Iris and Josie, up to date on vaccines, deworming and hw tests. We got two other girls spayed with the last donations, now we need to pay for this bill. Stitch and Zara have upcoming heart worm injections which are expensive. Can we please get some financial help? Charging $300 adoption fee doesn’t even begin to cover getting them up here and getting them ready for adoption. Thank you!!

He is extremely dog friendly, completely neutral with males or females large and small. Has been around the tester cats multiple times and just fine. Should be great with older kids simply due to his size and needing to fine tune his manners.
He was raised in a shelter we work with often so we know he’s been well cared for his life.

He is neutered and tested negative for heartworm. Vaccinated and micro chipped.
Hadn’t been handled at all before coming here about 3 weeks ago but doing fantastic. Will of course need an adopter willing to give him a week or two to adjust to another new home but this is a super fun and sweet guy. Very dog friendly and has been good with cats. Should be fine with kids as long as they give him space until he adjusts.
