Fully licenced with Brentwood Council (Licence number 21/00066/LIANI) and insured, Herongate Village Cattery provides comfort and safety whilst away from home. The accommodation is of a high standard being a purpose built Cattery of PVCU for hygienic use, situated away from noise in the countryside. Sneeze barriers are fitted to our outside veranda to reduce risk of infection. For the safety of al
l cats, bookings are only accepted with up-do-date vet vaccine records for the duration of stay. Cats also need to have had their regular flea and worming treatment prior to their stay. To minimise stress of cats coming into the Cattery, we use of Feliway plug-ins, but bringing something with the scent of home will help settle them quickly. Beyond the basic requirements of shelter, food and warmth, we add our caring attention, play and genuine concern for happiness and well being. On colder nights, we provide either a thermostatically controlled heated basket or overhead infrared emitters. It is also advised that you bring their own bed and/or blankets for extra comfort. Cats with special needs are warmly welcomed at the cattery, currently conditions covered are but not limited to;

Please call to discuss your cats own personal needs. Visitors are welcome to the Cattery for inspection. Please make an appointment and we can show you around, we ask that you do not touch the cats as infection can be transmitted. Fees (From 1st April 2024)

Please check times before you drop-off/collect your cat so that there are no misunderstandings. Inform us prior to your cat’s arrival date whether you plan to drop your pet off in the morning or the evening on the date of your cat’s arrival, if applicable. We would appreciate it if you arrived 15 minutes before our closing time to allow us to give your cat the care and attention it needs. A full days fee is charged for days of arrival and departure.
