Hello, my name is Abby and I am a senior in college I am doing a service project to collect donations for local animals shelters! Dr. Milligan has been so kind to let me put a donation box at her stationary clinic in Ogden. If you are using her mobile services and have any donations she is able to transport them to the clinic. Thank you all!

Expert advice for cat owners as avian influenza surges
To prevent H5N1 avian influenza from infecting pet cats, experts recommend that cats be kept indoors, their vaccinations should be up to date, and they should not be fed raw meat, poultry or dairy products. Cats exhibiting severe respiratory distress, low appetite, fever, eye or nasal discharge, or neurological problems such as tremors and seizures should be seen by a veterinarian immediately, says veterinarian Susan Nelson, a clinical professor at Kansas State University. We are excited to announce that our Exotics Department will be available 7 days a week starting in January!

Dr. Lofgren and Dr. Santangelo will now be available for general care as well as emergency care for exotic pets Sunday through Saturday 9AM to 6PM (though may be closed for certain holidays).

As always, if you do have a question regarding any of your exotic pets, or to schedule an appointment please feel free to reach out to our exotics team at [email protected] or call us at 801.683.6201.

🦎Currently our Exotics team is only operating at our Layton location, and we encourage any exotic pet needing to be seen on emergency to be seen at the Layton location - as we are equipped with the necessary exotic pet equipment, and not all emergency veterinarians at our Bluffdale location are comfortable with exotic pet medicine.

10/12/2024

For the upcoming holidays we will be closed December 24th to December 26th. We will also be closed December 31st and January 1st.
Call/Text now and schedule your appointments or surgeries.

If you have an emergency contact Mountain West, MedVet, or Urgent Vet Farmington.
