Welcome to Folklore and Ferns !🐔🌿
My name is Alli and my family and I moved into our home almost a year ago! This past spring I started working on my (what I like to call) mini hobby farm!
We have hens, and a small garden for herbs, flowers, and veggies!
With my mini hobby farm I decided I wanted to make products from what I’ve grown or find in our yard, products that range from skin care salves, lip balm, infused oils, cuticle and nail oil, and lash and brow serum- as well as small batches of produce, fresh cut flower bouquets, and when my chickens decide to lay- organic eggs.
Our yard is not chemically treated and I forage for a LOT of my ingredients right here at home! This includes medicinal herbs and plants, and flowers like wild violets, dead nettle, red clover, honeysuckle just to name a couple! I grew my herbs, flowers, and small batches of produce (I’m new to this lol) in organic soil and compost and our chickens are also fed only organic food and whatever they find in the yard lol I hope they give me some eggs soon, they are very loved and spoiled lol
A little bit about me:
I’m 31, a homemaker and have two children! I love to make things and utilize nature to make things that are good for you, and look nice too!
I grew up locally in Clarksville and graduated from Clinton Massie in 2010! I married my husband in 2019 and we bought our little house in Goshen in 2022.
I can’t wait to share the things I’ve made and have to offer with you all, and to keep growing my gardens to be able to do more!
