✨ From Tangles to Tresses: This Sheltie's Stunning Transformation! 🐾

This recent deshedding and dematting session was truly satisfying. Our furry friend came to us after a DIY grooming attempt, and we're thrilled with the results. 🐶💇‍♀️

Instead of shaving, we carefully blended and hid most of the coat while maintaining the precious length that's essential for this double-coated breed. It's important to remember that shaving double coats can lead to irreversible damage. 🚫✂️

But what made this experience even better? Our model pup's fantastic temperament throughout the process! 🌟❤️

“Ollie” today. He really said no thank you to pictures upon arrival 😆 His mama does such a good job brushing at home it made his prep work a breeze!

🐾🐶 Important Service Update 🐶🐾

Hey, pet parents! Hope you and your furry pals are having a woof-tastic day! 🌟

I wanted to share a little update about my grooming business. Unfortunately, I had to leave town at short notice to lend a helping hand to a friend in the commercial fishing industry. I'll be back and ready to pamper your adorable pets as soon as the fishing season comes to an end!

Some of you may have heard I had an additional grooming coming to town, unfortunately her plans had a change in coming to town and there is no fill.

While I'm away, my cell phone service might be a bit spotty, but I'm committed to staying in touch with each one of you. I'll be reaching out individually to my clients on the list as time allows to keep you informed about my return and to schedule your furry friend's grooming appointments.

Thank you for being such fantastic clients, and for allowing me to take care of your beloved pets. Your support means everything to me, and I can't wait to see you all again soon!

This sweet boy firmly let me know his whole body was completely off-limits to anything BUT my hand 🙃 after a 4 hour deliberation we compromised for no paws or face in exchange for a deep bath, brush out, sani trim and shave down. We snuggled and shared treats and got through it together. 🥰
This was my first send-home without getting everything I wanted done. While I was sad I didn’t get to trim his face and grinch feet all cute.. His mom was happy, and I was too! Fingers crossed he gets more comfortable and will evenly enjoy getting pampered 🤞✨

Cold temperatures, snow, and low humidity are the perfect storm for brittle nails. And when nails are brittle, they break. Broken nails can cause bleeding, but even if there's no blood, they can still be painful for your pooch. Keeping your dog's nails short all winter long is the best way to keep them from breaking! One step on a rock through the snow is all it takes.
Update on the salon - we are working on finishing touches and some products in the mail. We can’t wait to open! 🐾
