🎉Happy 1 Year Birthday 🎉

In just one year this litter has been out earning scent and rally legs, working as a comfort dog, competing and adventuring.

I am so proud for all that these pups have accomplished with their families and happy for the love they bring.

You can be safe without missing out on enrichment games!

What do you do when you have a wild puppy and it's dangerously hot outside?

Exercising dogs during the summer is not easy. Even early morning and evening exercise is dangerous in the temps that we have now.

Keep your puppy safe and cool with indoor games. ALL outdoor surfaces are hot now if you are in an area experiencing this extreme heat. Please be careful when you bring your puppy out for potty breaks.

To give your puppy mental enrichment indoors try these things:

Place a wet toy (chew-safe toy) in the freezer and offer your pup a cool teething toy after it has been in there a bit.

Play training games inside such as working on manners. Can your puppy sit, down, settle on leash? Try working those problem areas such as moving around and rewarding your pup for keeping all fours on floor. Training is great for calming energized minds.

It's also a great time to work on grooming and handling. Comb your puppy and practice a settle and chin rest for grooming. Handle your pup's paws. Practice nail clipping or fake it by clipping dry pasta near your pup's paws (it sounds like a nail trim).

Play hide and seek. Adults and children both enjoy this game. Can your puppy come to you as you hide in your home?

Play search games too! Try hiding a few toys and kibble in containers around the home and encourage your puppy to find them.

Make an indoor digging pit with layers of towels and toys hidden within.

Train again. 🙃

Try food puzzle games!

Take a nap. Seriously! Puppies need time to rest. Put your pup in the crate for a short time while you enjoy a nap of your own.

There's so much to do even in your own living room. Don't let a bored puppy ruin your weekend! Give your pup games and attention and your pup will give you time to relax too.

I'm so excited for her first title. This puppy has worked hard and exceeded my expectations.

Work and groom poodles at the training center. Follow fitness and training outlines. Wrap and maintain show coat as needed. Collect and input notes into system. Attend off site appointments and events. Clean work areas!

One of our educational themes now is reverse luring for training the obedience dumbbell hold.
