It’s been a while! We wanted to update you all on sweet Solo. He had a birthday last week 🎉 can’t believe it’s been a year since we had pups 🥹💙 Solo added a new member to his family and moved into a new house! Lots of changes for him. He’s handling it well and has the best family around.

I’ve taken a break from social media for a while.
Honestly I have such mixed feelings about social media. I’ve found for my mental health I need to take breaks. I love breeding dogs, training dogs, and helping families find the right dog for them. But I do not like the marketing and selling that goes along with breeding. If I’m being honest, it’s my least favorite part. I’d rather be spending time with my kids and time with the puppies. I don’t like the pressure I feel to post, make reels, get more followers. It was taking the fun out of breeding for me. So I’ve taken a back seat with all of that lately. I may not be growing a big following but that’s okay. That’s not why I do this. Just being real here. 🙃 I’m going to try and be better at posting but if I’m not on for a while just know I needed the mental break and needed to feel more present in my life. Thanks for those of you who continue to support and follow us along on our breeding journey 🫶🏼
Happy Easter from our crew! I love this time of year to focus on Jesus- his life, light, endless love, and sacrifice. The biggest blessing in my life is that HE LIVES. Knowing Christ brings me so much joy and peace. Joy and peace that I need everyday. I love him and my beautiful, crazy family. I hope you all had a joyful Easter. 🫶🏼

My littlest friend four last week. Had the best time celebrating him and the best part was a surprise trip to Disneyland! Parker is obsessed with Mickey and the trip was a dream. We even had to meet Mickey twice 💛 sweetest boy. Meeting all of Mickey’s friends, cars, and Spider-Man were definitely highlights. Trip to remember.
Now that Christmas break is over it’s finally snowing here in Utah. We are getting so much snow! ❄️ all my kids want to do is play in the snow and go sledding and all I want to do is cuddle up with a good book and warm drink ❤️

Hans Solo update! He is now known has Solo and is doing great. His family is making sure he’s socializing safely and he’s adjusting to his new house. He’s sweet and cuddly. Now if only he can skip through the 🦈 teeth phase. If you’ve had a pup, you know.

Pregnancy confirmed! Ruby Tuesday is pregnant and will be due August 2! We didn’t see tons of puppies so we are going a few are hiding. Can’t wait for these pups!

We bred Ruby Tuesday last week. We will have an ultra sound in a few weeks but we are expecting puppies August 2! Puppies will be ready for their forever homes at the end of September. We have a few puppies claimed but have a few more on spots available. These pups will be gorgeous red, some may have abstract markings(similar to Ruby Tuesday) and we have a chance for parti puppies as well. They will all be so stunning and will have amazing silky coats. We can’t wait for this litter! Both parents have amazing temperaments and will make the best pets or therapy dogs. We had the best Easter weekend. We went down south and actually felt the ☀️ it’s been 5 months since I felt sunshine and it was sooo needed. I was happy to come back today and not have snow at my house 🤞🏼 It was my father in laws 60th birthday so we surprised him with a little get-away. More pictures to come.
Just wanted to post my love and gratitude for Jesus. He is RISEN. I think my favorite part about Easter and Christ is the chance that I have to be better- to continue to grow, learn, and keep trying. Because of HIM, I’m given that chance. I make lots of mistakes but he can make it right and WITH HIM I can find strength, peace, and hope. So grateful. God is good. 💛

Getting a puppy is a big adjustment for first time dog owners. Here are four of the most important tips to set you and your pup up for success. 1 Crate train- it is an absolute must. It is not a punishment nor is it cruel. It is necessary and if done right, your dog will love it and it will be their safe place they want to retreat to. It helps protect your dog when you aren’t around. 2 Socialize- the first 16 weeks are so important. Expose puppies to noises daily. Expose puppies to a variety of experiences, people, places, to prevent fears in the future. Make sure to do so safely by keeping all paws off the ground. 3 Puppy Schedule- I send families home with a schedule they can tweak to fit their lifestyle, but it is so important to get the puppy on a schedule. Puppies should be napping, eating, and going to bed a regular times. This really helps with potty training. It also ensures puppy is getting enough rest and play time. Overtired puppies can be more nippy. Under stimulated puppies can always result in poor behaviors, like digging and chewing up stuff. Sticking to a schedule will make all the difference. 4 Set Boundaries- puppies need to earn their privileges and space. Do not let your puppy roam around whenever they please. They can get there, but starting with a free for all will just lead to problems. Not setting boundaries is one of the most common and biggest mistakes puppy owners make. Gradually decrease restrictions when you can fully trust the puppy.
