Get to know the amazing people behind our team! Each month we’ll be featuring one of our dedicated staff members. July’s Staff Spotlight is……Athena! 🎉

Athena started with us in the beginning of summer as a Pet Sitter and has quickly become an invaluable member of our team with her extensive pet experience! She has 3 cats 🐱🐱🐱and 2 dogs of her own 🐶🐶 (a chihuahua mix and a retired Aussie service dog) and previously fostered for the Collin County Rescue Center, specializing in providing a peaceful home for pregnant mommy cats to have and raise kittens.

Off the clock, Athena is training to become a Newborn Specialist and Postpartum Doula! Her favorite part of the job with Backyard Pets is providing peace of mind for
families and their pets. 🏡❤️

Athena’s nurturing and caring nature, combined with her pet care experience, makes her a perfect fit for our team. Welcome Athena! We’re lucky to have you. 🌟👏
