This tall dark handsome man is recovering from his desex surgery and will very shortly be looking for a forever family.

He is named perfectly, when he sees you he bounces like a Roo at the gate. He doesn’t jump fences nor does he jump on you

🚗 He travels well in a car

🐕‍🦺 walks well on a lead and enjoys going for a stroll.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦👫🧍‍♂️ would be suited to most homes but given his size would be best with older children if there are any in the home

Tommy is a sweet boy and his home were so sad to have to give him up but the other dog in the home didnt approve of him. Tommy is a sweet boy with lots of affection and love.

George would love to get back into a pet home and shower love an affection on his humans. He isnt suited to a rural property as he finds chasing wildlife and cats too enticing, A suburban home with a lovely back yard would be his best type of home.

His medication for the condition that causes his nose to lose pigmentation costs approximately $35 per month but the condition does not affect his quality of life. He is the sweetest and most affectionate of boys you will find.

Last morning in foster care and Victor made himself very comfortable. He came back today and had a meet and greet with a new family and no shock they loved him and he is now the proud owner of some new humans. Have a happy life Victor you beautiful boy.

Huge thank you to his foster carer Tracey for the wonderful job of fostering she did to help prepare Victor for his next stage in life.

Happy home update

Finny (formerly Maggie)

Just thought I’d reach out to let you know that Finny is settling in very very well.
We took a little spin on the Finloch in her racing name, as we have some other friends with both dogs and kids that are Maggie.

She’s just so calm and relaxed in all situations, is super smart, inquisitive (ok, a giant sticky-beak) and trains so easily.
She’s definitely a collector of things from around the house, but not destructive, loves her short walks and afternoon zoomies.

Victor really is getting to enjoy some of Tasmania’s sights while in foster care.

He will be looking for a home very soon and will make someone a lovely pet. He can be an only dog or share with others, he is great with kids and easy to walk.

Kev has been living in a pet home since January but the other dog in the home did not approve of his presence and the decision was made to find Kev another home where he can be happy and comfortable.

Maddie
Race name: Nanny Miller
DOB: 25th March 2018

Maddie was adopted through another rehoming organization last year and has lived in a pet home since. She visited GLPP late last year as her new owner was having some issues with her and other breeds of dogs out and about. Maddie did very well with socializing and retuned to her owner but the decision was made that she still wasn’t the best fit for the home. Her owner contacted GLPP and asked for help to find Maddie a home that would suit her better so she returned and has been socializing with the greyhounds and small dogs. Maddie is ready to find a home of her own.

🐕 Maddie gets along well with the other dogs and does like to zoom around and play but if she is with the wrong dog her play can be mistaken by the dog as aggression so it’s important if she is to share her home that she has a quieter prefer medium to large dog. Maddie currently spends her day with Sandy and they get along well.
