We are currently hiring for barn help in Madison, VA. One of our long-time staff members has an opportunity to go train in Wyoming for a while and chase her dream! We are looking for someone to help with AM and PM chores. Chores include daily care of the horses including feeding, cleaning waterers, giving hay, cleaning stalls, turn in/out, blanketing, preparing food, arena dragging, etc.

We are a small barn with wonderful owners and well behaved horses. We currently have 10 horses on the property (8 in stalls, two in pasture). Pay depends on experience.

Must have horse handling experience, transportation a must. Must be self directed and be able to work independently.

Thanks to our village Billy Hale - State Farm Agent Weaverworks Cathy Covington Weaver Coates Family Farms Bessie Dodson Stan Schulman Monique Schulman our horses are ready for the snow ⛄️ beautiful new round bales are in fields (thank you Carlyle!) and fields are secure thanks to Stan! Extra hay, feed and shavings secured in barn thanks to Billy. Love you village!
