Mittens' Fight Against FIP Hi! I'm a rescue kitty in Oklahoma. In April '20 at just 1yo, I was diagnosed with FIP. By Oct I finished my treatment. Now I'm cured of the awful disease!

Moving onward with life, with my mama and my 2 big brothers. �

Morning everyone! This month I'm turning 4! Quite the change since getting so sick this time 3yrs ago. Now I'm doing great, weighing in around 12ish pounds and I spend most evenings wrestling with my doggie sister, a 7-8lb yorkie who just turned 1yo. Had a check up at the vet several months ago now, and aside from some redness in my gums (he said it was common in cats with a viral load) he said he'd never know I was once in such bad shape. 🥰

Quick drop in, I'm still doing fine! 😻 Had a check up at the vet today (3yo now) and he said I'm doing great! He didn't give any shots today, which is fine since I'm a strictly indoor kitty. The only thing he said we should keep an eye on is that my gums are a little red. But mama is changing my diet to a more appropriate one for my carnivorous self, and said she will start to teach me to let her brush my teeth. 😳 The vet was so happy to see me doing well 2 years after my supposed death sentence diagnosis of FIP. 💖
