Art of the dream (Artie)
*7 year old bay ottb gelding. Off the track in October, and in my ownership since then. Has shown only quiet attitude, sanity & work ethic with me.
*Estimated 15.1hh (not totally sure as I have not properly sticked him yet). Really easy going, easy to handle, green but quiet and advanced beginner safe with a trainer and gentle hand.
*Safe on trails and will go out on trails alone, including rough terrain and crossing water.
*Goes English and western, great with both. Has not had much training with roping but I have worked with him a little on it. Schooling up to 2’9” with some nice lead changes developing. *Barefoot, trimmed recently and always on schedule. UTD on everything (spring shots to be scheduled). Very recently had a chiropractic adjustment. Teeth floated in July.
*No vices other than mealtime-only cribbing on corner feeder while he waits for meals, this behavior has not been observed at other times. *Working on patience in cross ties but does not misbehave.
*Wonderful all-around type who shows athletic ability and a quiet mind & willingness to please in everything he has been introduced to.
*Prefers light contact, rides in simple snaffle bit. Has also been ridden ba****ck and bitless. Has not bucked, bitten, reared, or bolted in my time training him.
