Bringing the awesome dog sport of Mantrailing to Northumberland!

Sunday saw us down on the farm, starting off in the snow ⛄ It's always fun to trail in the snow and lucky the venue is just off the A1 so nice clear roads ☑️

Unfortunately the snow soon stopped and turned into the rain as promised ☔

While it lasted, we could actually see where the trail layers footsteps were. This allows us to really focus on our dogs on & off trailing behavior

The farm also allows us different challenges compared to many other venues
✅Lots of gate indications
✅Lots of door indications
✅ Starting our trails inside buildings, going outside
✅Trailing though buildings
✅High and interesting finds including horse boxes, cattle trailers, stables, bales and concrete pipes!
✅Added distractions of livestock. Who have seen us all before and not give a monkeys 🐄

Jan 1st saw our 1st session of the year on our annual session in Belford village on new years day.

Also a chance for me to trail my own dog Johnboy.😁

But these are the only photos taken as the weather got progressively worse 🙈

Not only a mantrailing superstar with Laura Kirk Sniffer Paws NI - Mantrailing and Scentwork but now a star of the screen ❤️
Laura is based in Northern Ireland and is an amazing mantrailing instructor 😁 can't wait to see her next year for a catch up and training 🥰
