- Laser Therapy
- Natural nutrition & supplements
- Illness specific diet & nutrition

Dr Brooke is very commonly contacted after pets have had a mainstream vet diagnosis of conditions such as:
- Skin & ear complaints

- Inflammatory Bowel Disease
- Diabetes
- Hyperthyroidism/Hypothyroidism
- Cushing’s Disease
- Liver disease
- Renal disease
- Arthritis
- Heart disease

What does a telemedicine consultation involve?

Upon booking a telemedicine consultation, you will be asked to complete a new client form and consent for treatment form and asked to pay a deposit to confirm the appointment time.

Additionally, to get the most out of our telemedicine consultation it is recommended to emailS through any or all of the following if they apply to your pets concerns:

- Photos of your pet and pets tongue, eyes, skin problems or other problem areas
- Videos of concerning behaviour, coughing, sneezing, breathing patterns
- Vet history, diagnostic test results, medication hx

Due to the inability to perform a physical examination of your pet, the more information you provide about your pet the better. In some circumstances it may be deemed that a telemedicine consultation is not suitable and you may be referred to a vet clinic to get further tests or a physical examination.

What conditions are suitable for a holistic telemedicine consultation?

📢 Important Announcement 📢

Due to huge increase in demand for Holistic Health Services we have decided to restructure the way we provide our services so that more patients can be helped when they need it most.

We will be pausing our mobile service for a short time and moving more towards providing holistic consultation services via telemedicine, using the zoom platform or phone to connect with owners and their pets online and from anywhere in Australia & overseas.

Our focus will now be on natural health, providing the same variety of holistic medical treatments we have always offered such as Chinese herbal medicine, natural nutrition, naturopathy, homeopathy, essential oils as well as physical treatments such as acupuncture, laser therapy, rehabilitation & myofunctional therapy.

Being a qualified Veterinary service we can still provide diagnostic tests such as Titre tests, hair mineral analysis, dna tests & intolerance/allergy tests. We can refer to specialist care and surgery when needed and can provide prescription medication if deemed necessary*

We are very commonly contacted after pets have had a mainstream vet diagnosis of particular conditions such as:

Missy has just been surrendered to one of our partner vet clinics for euthanasia and she needs a carer ASAP.

The reason for euthanasia is because she is storm phobic and owner said she isn't allowed inside and barks/paces 😢

When inside in a crate she feels comfortable and secure. Has been at the vet yesterday and today and has not shown any anxiety with storms even hitting today.

Missy is good with other dogs. Is very sweet and friendly. Has been around kids 6 years+.

Now is the time to take a good look in your yard for any mushrooms that have started to grow. Remember to pick them and remove them from the yard completely, not just squash them, kick them out or mow over them.

With all the rain we’ve been having, it’s not just toads that are out and about but mushrooms too!

With mushrooms growing like crazy and popping up all over the place, it is a timely reminder that they are extremely poisonous to our furry friends.

While there are only a couple of types of mushrooms that our pooches can eat safely, we always recommend not to give any type to them since they can be very hard to differentiate between.

If you suspect your pet has eaten mushrooms, see your vet immediately as without treatment the consequences can be deadly.

Signs of mushroom poisoning can be instantaneous, to several hours, to even up to two weeks later. Signs to be aware of are:
❗ Lethargy
❗ Drooling
❗ Vomiting
❗ Diarrhoea
❗ Weakness
❗ Panting
❗ Hives/irritated/inflamed skin
❗ Nystagmus (eyes flicking up and down quickly)
❗ Irregular heart rate
❗ Seizures
❗ Collapse

If you do find any mushrooms in your yard, help your furry friends by pulling them out.

So much fun! My 6mth old Bordoodle Whisky spent the day with pawxpaw yesterday. He’s still exhausted this morning. Came home with a few more manners & a heap of new doggy pals.

Anyone local that have been affected by the floods and needs a safe place for your puppers to stay during the day, contact these guys. They will kindly take them in for a few hours or the day. They’ll be safe, have heaps of fun and it will be one less stress for you at this time.
