🏆🎉 DOG SHOW DELIGHT as our Fun Dog Show today raised a marvellous £938.38 for the Shelter. It was great to see so many of our supporters there with their dogs, including many ex-Brysons residents ...
🏆🎉 we thank everyone for coming along and making it a success. Special thanks go to our wonderful vets from Westway (Helen & Amy) for coming to help out with the tricky task of judging and our sincere thanks go to Chris Hunter Construction for so generously sponsoring the Show. Also to our volunteers for their hard work both at the Show and beforehand ...
🏆🎉 warmest congratulations to all the winners in the various fun classes and to every other dog. It's often said, but we mean it, every one of the lovely dogs we saw today was a winner, too ...

🌲🍾 BRYSONS' BOTTLE TOMBOLA APPEAL: yes, it's true, we're starting to prepare for Christmas! We need a lot of bottles to run the extrememely popular Bottle Tombola at our Special Christmas Eve Open Afternoon event ...
🌲🍾 no need to be alcoholic (although wine & beer is always welcome), if you have a bottle of something you can spare, we'd be delighted if you would drop it off at the Shelter (any day, between11 am to 4 pm) or, if you're attending one of our events (our Dog Show at Barley Mow on 21st July or any of our Monthly Sale Days held the first Sunday of every month) why not bring it with you to hand to one of our volunteers?
Any donation will be much appreciated and gratefully received. Thank you 😍

🌞 🎊 SALE DAY SUNNY SMILES abound as a superb £1,950.04 was raised for the Shelter today, as the rain held off and our super supporters came along to get some smashing bargains & enjoy some tasty treats ...
🌞 🎊 many thanks to everyone involved - our supporters, our doughty volunteers who set up, served & cleared away, the kind bakers & sandwich makers who donated the refreshments, our dedicated staff who kept the Shelter running and not forgetting the dog walkers and cat cuddlers who kept the animals happy whilst the Sale Day was underway ....

🐾 JOYOUS JUNE as 23 cats & dogs left the Shelter to join their new family & start a new chapter in their life in their forever home ...
🐾 that's an amazing 123 animals happily rehomed, so far this year, all thanks to their wonderful adopters, the marvellous staff and the dedicated volunteers. Heartfelt thanks go to each and every one of them. They are all heroes 💕

☀️ SUNNY SMILES on SALE DAY as a super £1222.61 was raised for the Shelter at today's monthly fundraising sale. It was lot drier than our Cattery Open Day last week (🙀) and we hope everyone who attended enjoyed the summer sunshine and maybe bagged themselves a bargain or two, too ...

🐾 🎊 MARVELLOUS MAY saw 16 pets make the move to join their new family, making it 100 animals who've matched with the perfect home, so far, this year ...

😻🥳 A CAT-TASTIC DAY Open Day today with sunny smiles all round as we celebrated the opening of our wonderful new Cattery...
😻🥳 the weather may have been wet but it didn't dampen the joy as we marked the completion of this long awaited project ...
😻🥳 lots of wonderful Brysons' supporters came to share the occasion, take a tour, have a cuppa & some cake and take part in our fun games & tombola. They helped raise a marvellous £339.80 in the process. A further £300+ (including online payments) was raised raised by the popular Raffle for the fantastic Cattery Celebration Cake (kindly made & donated by the talented Susan Greenwell) and today's Celebratory Drinks Raffle (see Winners' List below) ...
😻🥳 a special thankyou goes to Kathleen Copeland, who cut the ribbon and declared our lovely new Cattery Open. A very special retired member of staff, known to us as the Cat Lady, Kathleen has lovingly cared for and seen many hundreds of cats adopted during her long service at Brysons ...
😻🥳 thankyou too, to our hard working staff and volunteers who helped make today possible and, of course, to every one of you wonderful supporters who braved the weather and came along to mark this very special occasion with us. ❤️

The difference a week can make. The build is progressing really well and probably beyond our expectations. Mainly a delivery week this week and then the build can really get underway. You will see in the last picture, someone visited us overnight after the cement had been laid.

home, making a marvellous 327 pets (including guinea pigs & rabbits) who've become part of a family, this year, so far ...
