Not long after Honey and Moe went home. Their owners were moving to a new place. I got a text telling me how helpful their “place” hold is. She said it’s awesome how she can put them in place and not worry about them while moving stuff. But they still get to hang out.

Nash is here for training. 7 month old doodle. The main reasons he’s here are cause he doesn’t listen, doesn’t walk well on leash and jumps on everyone. He’s super cute, and very sweet.

Side note: I have a lot of catching up to do on this page. I’ve been busy with dogs. So I’ll be doing a lot more posting to catch up on all the dogs I’ve had here.

This is Moe, a 1 year old Boxer mix. He’s here for my 3 week board and train. Some thing we will be working on are tightening up his basic commands, work on his high prey drive, stop pulling on the leash and proper socialization.

Walk rehab for this cutie. There was a few dogs who lunged and barked at her and she did fantastic! Even held a down, from a distance.

Brandi was here for training a few months back. She was fearful of many things. I talked to her owner yesterday. He said she’s doing so well. He says she hardly notices the fan anymore and loud sounds don’t phase her. Her owners are rockstars!! They have kept up with the game plan and now Brandis life is fuller and she’s much happier now she’s well balanced.

Update from Tiny’s owner. “He’s like a new dog, an Angel. I’ve always wanted him to be able to sit in my office, while I work, and be calm. Today he did that”. This makes me so very happy!! I love to hear this feedback from my clients. 😍

My biggest training challenge yet! This is Tiny, who’s really not so tiny. 120+ lb Bullmastiff. He was referred to me by the breeder I got Lou from Desert Sky Bullmastiffs. This guy is huge, strong and stubborn. He had the mindset of a puppy, who wanted to do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. It was quite tough to get him to listen-he jumped on everyone and everything, pulled like a freight train, couldn’t sit still, wouldn’t go in his crate, refused to get into cars and plenty of other things. But I am happy to say that after 4 weeks of training, he went home a very different and well behaved dog. I got a call from his owner the next day saying “Tiny is an Angel, he’s a whole different dog”. He also told me he had workers at his house that Tiny normally jumps all over and he didn’t even try to jump, he sat in place and allowed them to work.
Tiny will be back for a month in April, to board with me.

I had a busy weekend with all these dogs. Viv, Rip, Tiny, Mj and Louis. I added Lou in the mix too. Cause that girl is rocking it with holding place.

What was I thinking?! 3 dogs. 🤪 On the other hand. Lou is taking pretty well to training. Nelly isn’t too happy about another dog being here. But Elvis is loving having a puppy to hang out with.

Mj is the man. Him holding place is great!!! He went from not being able to hold it for even a minute. To now not breaking until he’s told.

Lou has been home for 6 days. This girl is wild! She has to put everything in her mouth. She loves to tease the heck out of Nelly. Elvis is still very curious as to why we have this little demon in our house. I am so happy to say that she is absolutely amazing in her crate, she sleeps all night, and doesn’t potty in the house. She’s so much fun! She has started to hold place for a few minutes, but she hates the leash work.

Nelly went in for her dental cleaning. I’m so happy with how well behaved she was in the office and Nikis place did a great job on her cleaning.

Willow is back for a week. She’s been hanging out with Elvis quite a bit and they get along great! Willow is a really good girl for being only 6 months old. Her owners are doing fantastic with her!

Zeus and I went on a lot of field trips to help him be more comfortable out in public. He did better and better each time. This was our last outing, before he went home. This dude does awesome at holding a down, but you put him in place and he struggles. Overall he made great progress. His owners have some work ahead of them, cause this boy has ants in his pants! He just wants to play, play, play. He’s still young, so he has some growing up to do. He’s a tough dog to train, but he luckily doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. Which helps, I like the dogs who don’t want to bite me. 😬

I’ve been working with Zeus, with the help of Elvis, to be able to go out in public and not be so afraid. Elvis and I are pretty good at this walk thing. Since he was such a difficult pup during walks for a good part of 2 years of his life. We’ve got a good plan in place that has really been helping the dogs I work with. I am very happy with the progress Zeus has made the past few weeks. (Also, yes, I’m wearing Christmas socks😝).

Zeus has been back with me for 3 weeks. He’s here for ecollar training. He needed some help to work on an off switch, stop being pushy, to make him stop jumping, nibbling at people when he gets excited, learning how to play correctly and a few other things. He’s finally ecollar trained and we’ve been working on his play style this week.
This boy came to me as a rescue 6 months ago and was adopted to a sweet family. They brought him back to further his training.
I was shocked at how big he is. He just turned one and he’s bigger than Elvis now.

Wilson went home on Friday. I miss the little guy. He did well at his pickup and his owner is awesome!! They are doing great at home.

This is Wilson. He is here for 3 weeks of training. He’s 6 month old Jack Russell/chihuahua mix and is super high energy. He’s silly and makes me laugh a lot.

Elvis had a vet visit. I was getting his heart worm prevention and an annual check up. The ladies said he was was really good for them and they thought his coat was super shiny. He loved the attention. It’s so nice to be able to take him to the vet and not worry he will be naughty(like the old days). Having a well behaved dog, that I trust has made such a difference in me and my families lives.

Deebo came back for boarding. I love this big ol’ dude. He’s a pain in my ass, but so chill and fun to have around. He came with me to the nursery to pick out plants. He’s always a good boy and just wants to lay down and hang out.

Brandi went with me to pick out trees for the border wall of my fence. She’s very fearful. But did fantastic at the nursery. There were other dogs(one who lunged at her) chickens and lots of people. She killed it. No reaction to anything and I am so proud of her. She has come a long way these past 3 weeks.
