Happy August 1st! The first week of August is National Farmers Market week. Here is a of our first ever market on Wednesday 12/4/19 at ❤️

I will always remember this date because when we were accepted as a vendor I was so excited & emailed back that we could start ASAP. 12/4 was our day to start. When I told Nick he was very happy too but he didn’t say one word to remind me that it was his birthday. Only shortly before and after we had already committed did I remember. Newly married, I felt like a horrible wife! It turned out to be a wonderful way to celebrate! 🎉

We love partnering with local businesses! When I first started coming to the island I remember Nick pulling over one day driving back to Waimea from Hilo. He bought a couple bags of fish and sliced me some sashimi and we had an amazing dinner! I knew at that moment he was the man for me! 😍 Kidding!! But seriously, a man that can cut Beef & Fish…. What a catch, am I right?! But from then on, I couldnt pass one of ʻs bright pink signs without pulling over for some fresh fish at awesome prices!

Over the years, I have enjoyed watching their business grow. They now also have their own poke shop in Hilo near the Macyʻs side. Iʻm super happy that we are now able to work with them to provide your pup a new product that also utilizes another by product which would have otherwise been wasted!

Check them out 7 days a week from 8am-6pm at 111 E. Puainako St. Grab a poke bowl or pick up some fresh caught fish! You wont be disappointed!

Mahalo nui loa Hilo. We had an epic Merrie Monarch weekend. It sure went by too fast! Thank you to everyone who came out. We were so happy to see familiar faces and also meet new ones.

Mahalo for my lole and to for Gem’s. I needed this color “kaunaʻoa” because I thought it matched our new chicken treat stand up pouches. I know you are probably tired of hearing it but iʻm gonna tell you again anyways, they are home compostable! 😂

This may be controversial, but ‘human-grade’ doesn’t always mean ‘pet-appropriate.’ Let me break it down for you:

Nutritional Differences: Human foods are tailored for human needs. Our pets require different levels of nutrients such as proteins, fats, and carbohydrates.

Metabolic Variances: Dogs and cats metabolize foods differently. What’s harmless to us can be toxic to them—like onions and chocolate.

Does it bug anyone else that our “Green” Tripe is in red packaging? 😅 No? Just me?! 🤣

Green tripe is the nutrient-rich stomach lining of grazing animals. It is called “green” because it has not been bleached, unlike the white tripe commonly found in supermarkets. Green tripe is rich in essential nutrients, including protein, essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals.

It is by far, the stinkiest of all of our treats as well as a fan favorite! Only the bravest of all our customers give it a try because I make sure they are thoroughly warned about its stink factor. 😅 More often than not, those customers who give it a shot will rave to me about how much their dog loved it!
