Pickup is definitely an option. We accept pickup for those who would love to come get their basset hound puppies by themselves. We highly encourage it since it is a very nice way to get to know the new owners of our pups more. A reservation deposit is required and pickup of all puppies are accepted on weekends only.
DELIVERY OF PUPS
If in case you are unable to come for pickup, we can deliver to your location. Doesn’t matter if you are in a different state since we ship to all states in the US and Canada. The shipping fee varies, depending on where you are located but it is estimated to cost around $150 to $200.
*We do offer FULL AKC Registration to select approved homes for a additional fee and will require a in home - home visit completed by myself for approval and a detailed explanation and of your existing breeding program .
Our puppies are delivered in our home with the assistance of my husband and I. The puppies are taken to the vet as follows
2 weeks deworming and check-up
4 weeks deworming and weight
6 weeks deworming , 1st vaccines, health exam.
9 weeks deworming 2nd vaccine and micro-chipping
We apply an export tax refund for USA. For NON-US states, we take care of all administrative procedures, notably customs administration.
Each puppy is provided with an export pedigree and an American passport.

We have recently added a kennel attached to the house to improve the comfort of our bassets. They only eat there and spend the rest of their time with us, as a family. Their diet, which we cook entirely on site, is balanced and balanced individually to ensure the best intake according to their age and condition. The whole family is involved in feeding, walking, caring for, brushing and playing with our basset hounds. Our boys even help us in the preparation of meats, bones, vegetables, fruits, etc. that we transform ourselves in our kitchen exclusively reserved for our dogs. There is a lot of coming and going with the farm so our pack is used to seeing lots of people of all ages; they are well socialized and always very happy to see visitors arrive. We work to breed puppies that have a good character with the Basset's calm temperament. The beginning of a puppy's life is the most critical phase for its development and we put all our energy and our heart into it so that they are socialized as well as possible from birth. Our females never have more than one litter per year and mating is only done if their health allows them. Our puppies live their last 2 weeks here mixed with the rest of the pack; we find it essential that puppies can learn their canine code and the principle of sociability with other dogs before they leave the family nest. No human can teach them manners and how to present themselves in front of other dogs as well as members of their own original pack. Here, it is the mother who decides when she decides to wean her litter; she is the best at choosing the right time for her puppies.

There are very few registered Basset Hound breeders Here. All our puppies are microchipped and registered with the American Kennel Club assuring you of the authenticity of the breed. We also take care of registering the microchip with your details to the organization that manages the canine database. We breed top quality purebred puppies only. Our dogs are registered with the BHCA with a name that we choose according to the letter of the name of the litter; the common name of the dog will obviously be chosen by the adopting family. In this way, you are guaranteed to have a dog that will really have the Basset Hound type when it reaches adulthood. Here, unregistered Bassets are, for the most part, very far from the standards of the breed; they have been crossed in past generations with dogs with a very different temperament from the true Hound and these effects stand out. Beware of these fake breeders: small, the puppies are cute but you don't know what the future will make of your dog (little loose skin, legs lengthen and crochissent, stiff ears, less heavy, but above all and what worse, an excited and nervous temperament that is not at all typical of the Basset Hound). Look for a registered Basset instead; only registration certificates can confirm that it is indeed a purebred dog no matter what the salesman will tell you. If a breeder tells you "the parents were", tell yourself that this person probably defied the law and bred with a dog they did not have. permission; there is no reason that puppies of registered parents should not be registered except in cases of fraud.

The part of the deposit will be refundable only when we receive your Basset Hound's sterilization certificate (this surgery is done by your veterinarian and is at your expense, we recommend this intervention around the age of 10 months). All puppies are fully vetted, microchipped, and are current on their shots and worming schedule when they are ready to go to their new homes. We do require you to have your puppy seen by your local veterinarian within 48-72 hours. Your puppy comes with a one year limited health guarantee. All of our hounds are health tested to assure that they are free of the diseases and complications that can arise in the Basset Hound breed. While this does not guarantee that your puppy will never develop any health conditions, it certainly gives them the best chance at a long and healthy life.

HEALTH GUARANTEE
All puppies purchased through our website are covered with at least a 30-day health guarantee by the Dog Breeder. If you have questions about what is covered, please view the Law associated with your state.
Within ten days of purchasing your new puppy, you must take him/her to a licensed veterinarian for an examination. If the veterinarian determines, within ten days of purchase, that your dog is clinically ill or has died from an injury sustained or illness likely to have been contracted on or before the date of sale and delivery, you have the following options:
Retain the dog and receive reimbursement for reasonable veterinary fees, not exceeding the purchase price.
Return the dog for a complete refund.
Return the dog for a replacement dog of equal value.
These options do not apply where a seller, who has provided a health certificate issued by a veterinarian, discloses in writing at the time of sale the health problem for which the buyer later seeks to return the dog.
If within 30 days of purchase, a licensed veterinarian determines that your dog has a congenital or hereditary defect which adversely affects the animal’s health or that your dog died from a congenital or hereditary defect, you have the same option as outlined above.
You must notify the seller of the examining veterinarian’s name, address & phone number within two days of the vet’s certification of your dog’s illness. Failure to notify the seller within two business days will result in forfeiture of rights. Each state has different laws related to the sale of a puppy; please educate yourself on the laws in the state which you purchase your puppy.
Each state in the U.S. has different guidelines in regards to guaranteed health for sold puppies. For states that do not have a mandatory health guarantee in place, any breeder advertising through our site is expected to cover the health of their puppies for at least 30 days. In the event that a state guideline is in place offering a guarantee longer than 30 days, that law holds precedence.
*Some breeders offer extended guarantees on their puppies. It is not legal for a breeder to offer a health guarantee that is not at least equal to state law. For a more detailed description of extended genetic health guarantees, read below.

An additional guarantee specifically covering any disease or illness that is proven to be of a genetic origin through proper veterinary examination and testing.
