Meet this month’s board and train crew!

Cosmo - 11 months old
Freddie- 4 months old
Pearl- 5 years old

We have a mama, a teenager, and a baby all here to learn the same things!

This is a prime example that learning new things has no age limit. I truly don’t believe that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. Pearl will be a great example of that.

It’s always so fun being able to take dogs from all different backgrounds/ages/breeds and being able to achieve the same goals.

Although each route the dogs take will be different… the destination is always the same.

Good morning everyone!

Just a friendly reminder to make sure your dog’s are in good health before boarding them with me.

I take great pride in providing a clean and safe space for all of the dogs that stay with me but accidents happen, especially when it comes to things I can’t see (ie the spread of parasites/giardia.)

I, myself, always take proper measures to help prevent the spread of parasites, such as:

🐾 Bowls and kennels are cleaned (with a bleach solution) daily.

🐾 Floors are mopped and cleaned daily.

🐾 The pools are cleaned and disinfected daily.

🐾 The yard is picked up instantly and is also bleached once a week to prevent the spread of bacteria and parasites.

With that being said, the responsibility isn’t all on me! I need your help to make sure your dogs are in great health (up to date on vaccinations and diarrhea free (with a negative f***l sample!)

If your dogs are experiencing diarrhea (intermittent or persistent) please keep them home and get them tested for any GI problems, especially issues like parasites or giardia, before boarding them. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

Please do not take your dogs to dog parks/highly populated areas at least 1 week before their set boarding dates. This allows some time to pass for the symptoms of GI issues to show before they come to me.

Be mindful of walking dogs on broadway and allowing them to drink from public bowls.

Be mindful of letting them drink from the lake or from still water (especially if you like to hike with your dogs!)

And be mindful of letting your dogs eat rabbit p**p, deer p**p, or geese p**p- this can lead to the spread of giardia.

My ultimate goal is to make sure every dog that comes through my door is safe and healthy and I would greatly appreciate if we can all work together to keep it that way!

Good morning Everyone!

I am extremely excited to finally announce my new business name:

🐾 The Divine Canines 🐾

The Divine Canines’ mission is to help owners navigate the daunting road of unlearning old habits and instilling new ones. This road is often bumpy, winding, and trying at times but every owner has the same destination… to come home to a happy, healthy, and most importantly well behaved dog.

The Divine Canines’ hope is to teach owners that loving and leading your dog doesn’t have to feel like an impossible task and that it is possible to set boundaries without damaging your relationship with your dog.

I want to empower owners to reach within and take back control. To learn the power of self confidence and educate them on how dog training first starts with human training. Rewiring our way of thinking and breaking old habits. I want to educate owners on how to read their dog’s body language, how to communicate with their dog effectively, and help owners understand how their own energies can affect their dogs negatively and positively.

Over the next few weeks I will be slowly transitioning my social media accounts over to The Divine Canines. For those who religiously recommend me, THANK YOU! You guys are the reason I am now able to step into this next chapter of my business career. With that being said, once all accounts are switched to The Divine Canines, I will no longer be going by Head to Tail Canine Services. So any new clients should be directed to The Divine Canines.

I look forward to this new and exciting chapter and I want to thank all of you for continuously supporting me every step of the way.
