Gracie is a good girl. And by that I mean, a great girl. I often wonder how a dog like her ends up in a shelter in the first place. She has such an amazing personality...
The shelter said she kept escaping her owner's yard.
Was she left alone outside? She doesn't truly strike me as an escape artist - she just wants to be near people. I imagine they left her in the backyard and her loneliness made her wander in hopes of a new life.
Gracie is a 2 year old Blue Heeler mix. I have a strong suspicion that she has Pomeranian in her or something that is giving her a super fluffy, curly taily. She is about
25-30 Ibs (although she's on a diet). She sheds like crazy, just a heads up.
Gracie is great with all other dogs. She is a working breed, and is extremely intelligent. She will make an awesome dog for someone if properly exercised and stimulated. Really, she doesn't need much. She loves to cuddle and is a great lap dog. We think she would love a medium/active home. She is kennel trained and spayed.
