Lady Azurite is getting so big! 6mo old and doing amazing with her mom💜 I'm so proud of you baby girl your becoming a wonderful example of not only your breed but our program as well. Not every pup qualifies to be a service animal let alone to go through the process of being trained as one and a lot of people don't understand that. A lot of breeders will also take it quite personally to heart if their pups don't meet criteria and you do the right thing by taking them back to the breeder instead of reselling them as well, which is pretty heartbreaking. It's all in the genes and a lot of people can't grasp that. They think any dog can be a service dog because there's a lot of fake ones put there when that's not the case. There's special behavioral tests, specific traits and qualities the pup must show and temperament is a big deal as well. If a pup fails at any of these or any other forms of testing and training that needs to be done in order to raise a quality service animal then they will automatically be denied but that doesn't mean it's not a good dog for something else. Also determination happens when the pup is just that, a puppy. Our pretty girl is 6mo now and doing amazing! Passed all her tests and classes and is now onto the next level! She even advanced in the "good citizens " test and passed with flying colors!
